Speaker 0 00:00:00 Hey, Rayna. Hey Meg. <laugh>. Why are ghosts and demons so close? Why demons are a ghouls best friend? <laugh>. So stupid. So dumb, but good. And I keep forgetting to find a joke, so I just Google like, yeah. She sat down and I'm like, Hey, you ready? We start recording. She's like, oh shit. I'm like, you forgot again. So I'm gonna start, I think I'm gonna start to see if I can find some fun, like solid dad jokes. Um, every time I forget. Yeah. But I write everything else well. Yeah, that exactly. And like, but then I have some of my sleep. So how's your week going? Um, it is going, it is almost Friday. And thank God my sister and my nephew is flying from Hawaii tonight. And I'm so excited. And then it's my, one of my best friends bridal showers this weekend. Speaker 0 00:00:45 All my besties from high school are reuniting and it's gonna be a fun weekend. So. That's so excited. I'm excited. What about you? How's your week? It's good. It's been low key. Mm-hmm. <affirmative> Kids School. Yep. There's like a week and a half left of school. I know. And I'm pretty sure I count down every time we record because I am so done. I see. And I'm totally like, no, just really? Yeah. Oh. I mean, I was starting to get my youngest signed up for like a gymnastics camp or something, because she's gonna drive me bonkers. So, you know, just getting on the process of that. Go be gone. Be gone. At least for a few hours a day. Go do something to burn off your energy. I mean, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because just go run around outside. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Hello and welcome to Lunatic Soup, the podcast where we go into all things wild, weird and unknown. We are your host Meg. And I'm Rena. Ready to brew up some soup. Let's go. Speaker 0 00:02:12 Okay. We got new cider. Yeah. This is the exciting part. We went shopping, we ventured out. I sent my husband a total wine of more. This one looks interesting. Yep. It is my favorite flavor, which is peach. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. That's like one, well, peach and past fruit, but this peach, it's a juicy, semi sweet peach hard cider. Semi sweet and peach. I'm curious how that's gonna work. Cause I think peach and I think pretty sweet. So do I. But yeah, we will see It's also only 5%, which like, our one last week was 9.1 <laugh>, so that one was again, not messing. How'd you go to the zoo the next day as a chaperone. And we had two of those. How was that? It was one, it was actually such a good, um, day. It's fun to spend a great zoo. We do. And it's fun to spend one-on-one time with your kids. Like, you know, you don't Yeah. Especially when you have so many. Yeah. And so it's nice to just get to do something with just one and get to like, have all your like, attention towards the one. Yes. Because you get split in every which way when you have Speaker 2 00:03:05 Multiples. Yeah. I feel like you get to know them better. Yeah. And all that stuff. Speaker 0 00:03:08 All right. Speaker 2 00:03:09 Did you say these were from Gig Harbor? Speaker 0 00:03:10 Yeah. They're locusts. Um, they're based outta Gig Harbor, Speaker 2 00:03:13 Which is like my favorite town. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:03:15 In Washington. Gig Harbor is beautiful. Anyways, all right, let's Speaker 2 00:03:19 Go. Oh, Speaker 0 00:03:22 Gonna taste this one pre lime and then, oh, that Speaker 2 00:03:24 Is very peachy Speaker 0 00:03:25 Smelling. And then lime it. Cuz I feel like I'm gonna need lime for this. Speaker 2 00:03:29 Guys write in with some suggestions for ciders. Like if you're a cider company, Speaker 0 00:03:34 All we've, all the feedback that I've seen is actually that we are just encouraging people to try ciders <laugh>. Right? Like, honestly, like I deserve everyone's like, I, I've now I wanna cider. Yeah. You make me crave cider. Like, yeah. Speaker 2 00:03:45 That's different. It's Speaker 0 00:03:47 Like a very ripe peach. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Speaker 2 00:03:49 Right. Speaker 0 00:03:50 Almost like nectarine apricot. That's Speaker 2 00:03:52 Sweeter than I expected. See, Speaker 0 00:03:54 It's as sweet as I expected. It's the aftertaste that I'm not like, it tastes like a nectarine or like an overwrite peach maybe. Yeah. It, it's the, I think it's like the first bit I really enjoy it. And then the after bit is very like a dried apricot is what it kind of reminds me of. Well it's Speaker 2 00:04:10 Like that. Um, which one did I do? The blackberry pie. I like that. The aftertaste is what got me where I was like, eh. Okay. But I did like it. Speaker 0 00:04:19 I almost ordered that same company when I was like looking at these. Oh, really? Have it. They have a key lime pie and I love wine, obviously. Beautiful. But, um, so I almost got that one, but maybe I'll get it next time. Cuz Mr. Boo Boo goes right by total wa more on his way home. So just do a pickup order. I just realized that he was like, yeah. He just sat there and picked, ordered it up it online. Yep. Speaker 2 00:04:41 Excellent. Okay, so today we are going back to the Ghosties. This is a spooky episode. Speaker 0 00:04:49 This is apparently very scary. When Meg was writing this, she was telling me that she was, this is the one. Right. But you were saying that mm-hmm. <affirmative>, it was scaring you as you were writing it. Which, and I don't, you guys scared. I feel like that scared says a lot because I'm the one who's like a chicken shit about everything. And then Meg's like, fully like just writing an episode and scared. Like, Speaker 2 00:05:04 So this one, it, it was creeping me out when I was writing it. And then you sent me something that scared me this week. Oh Speaker 0 00:05:11 Yeah. Like Speaker 2 00:05:12 I, I don't get very scared about this stuff, but she sent me a TikTok. Speaker 0 00:05:17 Yeah. I think I, well, remind me, I wanna re-share that just to our, um Speaker 2 00:05:21 Yeah. Cuz Tex needs to see it. Speaker 0 00:05:22 Yeah. But put it on our story or just Oh, put it on story. Or like, maybe even do a dot of it, um, or something to put on our feed. Yeah. Because it was, Speaker 2 00:05:30 It was scary. Creepy. It was, should I describe it? Yeah. It was a guy on a boat. Like, I don't know if it was a crabbing boat or, or whatever out in the middle of the Yeah. Some sort of big Speaker 0 00:05:38 Fishing Speaker 2 00:05:38 Boat. And on the sides of the ship you could see these things going like as fast as the ship through the water. And it was very clear. It wasn't just an after wave. Yep. From the ship. And then you could hear the singing in the water. It was, I mean, he, he, they said it was like sirens or something. It was, it was Speaker 0 00:05:58 Eerie and terrifying. Yeah. Do you feel like sirens are like n I mean, they're like mermaids. I know that and whatever, but they're kind of like the aliens of the sea, you know? That's a good Speaker 2 00:06:10 Way to put it. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:06:10 Like, but you know, they always say that NASA started with the ocean and they stopped exploring the ocean. Did you know that? Speaker 2 00:06:17 No, I didn't know that. You Speaker 0 00:06:18 Didn't? So nasa, no, nasa when they first launched was to explore the ocean. Nuh. And they stopped for some reason. They stopped exploring the ocean and then they moved to space. Speaker 2 00:06:27 Huh. I think there's things in the ocean. Like we have to Yeah. Speaker 0 00:06:30 Oh yeah. But the fact that NASA also stopped, does that not creep you out? That is, and you also don't like the ocean anyways. Like, I Speaker 2 00:06:36 Don't like the ocean. The ocean actually scares me. Speaker 0 00:06:38 Yeah. I mean, it's a vast unknown place. Speaker 2 00:06:42 Ooh. Speaker 0 00:06:42 Yeah. Anyways, Speaker 2 00:06:43 I got another kind of a news flash there. I sent it to you earlier. Oh yeah. Um, the Guardian put out an article, it says, us urged to reveal u f o evidence after claim that it has intact alien vehicles. Whistleblower, former intelligence officer, whistleblower, former intelligence official says government possessed intact and partially intact. Craft of non-human origin. That's cuz remember we had that discussion where Yeah. They came out and said, UFOs were real. But what's a ufo? An unidentified flying object. Yeah. This is saying that they have something that's actually alien. Alien spacecraft. Yeah. So that's interesting. Speaker 0 00:07:27 I'm just, I've just been waiting for, I'm honestly just waiting for the aliens to come down and be like, what's up motherfuckers? I'm here to fuck up yo day. Let's do it. Just kidding. I don't think they're gonna come and try and hurt us. I think that they're gonna be like, y'all are dumb and you're killing yourselves. Like, figure it out. Speaker 2 00:07:40 I also, a friend sent me an article or a theory called like the zookeeper theory mm-hmm. <affirmative> where, you know, how we keep animals in zoos and sometimes there's a two-way glass and we can see them, but they can't see us. Uhhuh. <affirmative>. That's us. Speaker 0 00:07:54 Wild. Speaker 2 00:07:54 Right. And the whole universe is kind of shielding us because we dumb. Speaker 0 00:07:58 I mean, I'm not fucking surprised, Speaker 2 00:08:00 But that, that I, that was a very Speaker 0 00:08:02 Interesting, I think that that's like such a big theory to wrap your head around. It's terrifying. But I i it makes sense to me. I don't know. Jesus. All right, let's get into the episode. Let's get into I can't about that. I'm gonna have nightmares tonight. Speaker 2 00:08:16 <laugh>. So we were talking about the Bobby Mackey bar. Bobby Mackey bar was built in the early 19th century and it, the property was an originally used as a slaughterhouse. So we're already off to a great Speaker 0 00:08:31 Start. Oh God. You know, Mr. Booboo used to work in a slaughterhouse. Uhuh. Yeah. He used to, that was his, one of his first, not first jobs, but he used to like stu the sheep before they split their throats. I know. I hate Speaker 2 00:08:41 It. Uhhuh <affirmative>. Oh, I don't like that. Uhhuh <affirmative>. I Speaker 0 00:08:44 Mean, he grew up on a dairy farm, so like, you'd see a lot. It's there. It's, yeah. But yeah, he used work in a slaughterhouse. I don't like that at all. Me either. Speaker 2 00:08:51 Um, when the slaughterhouse was built, they put a very deep well in the basement. Mm. And they said it was used to like dump blood and trails. Waste of the slaughtered animals. Fucking gross. Yeah. And you know, this is just building a real good story here. <laugh> Speaker 0 00:09:06 Heard the pigs haunting the, the bar. Speaker 2 00:09:08 Oh no. That's the Amityville house. Jodi the pig. Oh, we'll get into it. Oh, another, Speaker 0 00:09:13 Okay. Speaker 2 00:09:14 Don't worry. <laugh>. There's also said to be a small room in the basement that looks like a jail cell. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. It's so small that you could only sit in it. So imagine be putting, being put in that. Hell no, I don't like it. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. I don't like it. So fun fact, my mother-in-law actually has gone and investigated this place and we have been invited to investigate should we feel so inclined. Speaker 0 00:09:35 Is this the one in Kentucky? It sure is. That's when you She's like, we we're invited to Kentucky. I'm like, oh, good God. Let's Speaker 2 00:09:42 Go. Speaker 0 00:09:42 Can we go when the Kentucky Derby is on? So at least I have something like Speaker 2 00:09:46 Big hat. Yeah. As long as we can go buy big hats. Yeah. All Speaker 0 00:09:49 Right. I wanna, I wanna wear a big hat and drink lots of champagne. Sure. Speaker 2 00:09:52 Is that what they do at the Kentucky dinner? I think Speaker 0 00:09:54 So. I don't know. And bet on horses. Speaker 2 00:09:56 I just know the big hat. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:09:57 But it's a big hat. Big hat. You'll have to wear a dress though, Meg. God damn. Maybe a cute leg jumpsuit. I'll put you in something like Speaker 2 00:10:02 That. I don't like dresses. Speaker 0 00:10:03 Yeah. I'll put you in jumpsuit. Like pantsuit. Speaker 2 00:10:06 Yeah. And then I look like Hannibal Lecter. Speaker 0 00:10:08 What? Not that kind of damn suit. <laugh>. Good god. <laugh> Speaker 2 00:10:14 On <laugh>. So the, the slaughterhouse ended up closing down in the 1890s and the property remained empty for about 30 years. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. What happens when a big old building, especially a creepy one, remains empty? Uh, Speaker 0 00:10:26 Things happen. Things Speaker 2 00:10:27 Happen. The rumor was that a Satanic cult would break into the building and perform rituals in the basement around the Well, Speaker 0 00:10:34 Lovely Speaker 2 00:10:35 Uhhuh <affirmative>. And they said it were, they were said to sacrifice animals, possibly humans and throw the remains into the well. Okay. Would you like to go like, search this? Well, Speaker 0 00:10:47 No. No, I would not. No, Speaker 2 00:10:48 No. I wanna put a camera down there and see what's down there. Speaker 0 00:10:51 I absolutely do not want to do that. <laugh>, you go knock your socks off. I'll be, uh, hiding in the car or something. Speaker 2 00:10:57 <laugh>. No, that's, that's even, okay. Keeps going. Okay. An 1896, there was a 22 year old girl from New Castle, Indiana, and she was found decapitated in a field two miles away. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Her name was Pearl Bryan. She was pregnant. Her boyfriend. Oh God. Yeah. Her boyfriend, Scott Jackson was a dental student at the Ohio College of Dental Surgery. Um, and he was convict, he convinced her to have an abortion and wanted her to go to Cincinnati to have one. Okay. Okay. This doesn't end well, obviously she's decapitated. This is where things get kind of murky. She never made it to Cincinnati. Um, not sure if it's because she didn't want an abortion Right. Or not, but from what I read, it sounds like he wanted it. She didn't. Not, yeah. Um, so some reports say that she did want it, and she had Scott Jackson and his roommate perform it, and it didn't end well and she ended up dying. Others say that Scott Jackson and his roommate killed her because she wouldn't have one. Speaker 0 00:12:01 So Scott Jackson's the boyfriend. Scott Speaker 2 00:12:02 Jackson's the boyfriend. Okay. But, and his roommate. Speaker 0 00:12:04 But then how did she end up decapitated is the question. Speaker 2 00:12:07 Well de cover up Pearl's death. They decapitated her and put her in a field near the abandoned slaughterhouse to try to blame it on something else. Speaker 0 00:12:15 Got it. Speaker 2 00:12:15 So they just tried to cover it up. But at the end of the day, they, they, they're the ones that did Speaker 0 00:12:20 It. And they were they convicted, obviously? Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Yeah. God. Speaker 2 00:12:23 Um, they were able to track the killing back to Jackson and his roommate. They ended up confessing, but they wouldn't tell them where the head was hidden. Some say that they put it down the well, Speaker 0 00:12:31 Sounds Speaker 2 00:12:31 Like it's never been found. Speaker 0 00:12:33 Sounds like a lot goes down that, well, Speaker 2 00:12:35 This place seems awesome. Speaker 0 00:12:38 God dammit. And then I know this is about a bar, so please tell me they didn't build a bar on top of this. Speaker 2 00:12:43 Let's move Speaker 0 00:12:44 On. Oh, no. <laugh>. Oh no. In Speaker 2 00:12:48 The 1920s, the slaughterhouse was torn down and it became a casino and a nightclub that was constructed on top of it, well, is still there. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>, they never filled it up. It became a speakeasy dur during prohibition. Lots of things are happening on this property. Yes. Lots of bad things. When prohibition ended, a man, um, named ea Brady brought the property and turned it into a nightclub. Speaker 0 00:13:15 Okay. Okay. Speaker 2 00:13:16 So we're moving on. We're moving on. This is when the mob activity started. Speaker 0 00:13:20 Okay. Oh, God. <laugh>. Oh, holy. Speaker 2 00:13:23 Okay. So this place, this nightclub was called the Primroses. And it was a popular place where people in the mob would visit. Okay. Okay. This is not gonna go well. Oh God, either. Speaker 0 00:13:33 Well, the mob you already know they're killing everybody. No. Speaker 2 00:13:35 Right. Um, mob bosses decided that they wanted to take over the business. Uhhuh <affirmative> Brady said no. And then they started intimidating people coming in and out of the parking lot and like beating people up. All this stuff. Brady got fed up with it, pointed a gun at them. He was arrested and charged with attempted murder mm-hmm. <affirmative>, and ended up having to abandon the place in 1946. It remained empty a few years. Again, I don't know why the mob didn't come in and take it after that. Weird Yeah. But who guess maybe they were scared off. Yeah. I mean, I would, Speaker 0 00:14:01 I mean, I, from a man with a gun, I don't if feel like that would scare 'em off. Well Speaker 2 00:14:06 Maybe the place scared them off. Oh, I see Speaker 0 00:14:07 What you're saying. What Speaker 2 00:14:07 If they tried to come in and too many spooky crap was. Speaker 0 00:14:10 Yeah. Well, cause Jesus, Speaker 2 00:14:11 Yeah. Um, it later in the 1950s became another nightclub. And the new owner had a daughter named Johanna, who was a dancer. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Um, this bar would hire singers and entertainers and a singer named Robert Randal became a regular performer. Um, Johanna and Robert fell in love and she became pregnant and they planned to run away together. Okay, where's this gonna go? Speaker 0 00:14:35 Someone's gonna die. <laugh>. Speaker 2 00:14:38 Her father who owned the nightclub, became angry and he used his connections with the bo mob to have Robert killed. Speaker 0 00:14:44 Oh. Speaker 2 00:14:45 Johanna found out what her father had done and she poisoned him holy. And then went down to, to the well and, uh, took her life. This place is not great. I said Speaker 0 00:14:58 It a few times. My God, it sounds like there's some fucked up things in there. Maybe influencing mental states as well. Speaker 2 00:15:04 That's what I would get from all this. Yeah. Cause there's so many bad things that happen. So it changed owners again. And the nightclub had had so many fatalities that the authorities close it down. Yeah. After that they just closed it down. They're like, no, too, too much shit happens here. We're not doing this. Speaker 0 00:15:24 Makes sense. Speaker 2 00:15:24 Time went on in a 1978, a young country singer named Bobby Mackey bought the building and was able to turn it into a music hall and nightclub. Speaker 0 00:15:34 Okay. Speaker 2 00:15:35 And he still owns it today. Oh. Speaker 0 00:15:36 Oh, okay. Speaker 2 00:15:37 Okay. It's Bobby Mackey's bar. So Speaker 0 00:15:38 Is it still up and running? It Speaker 2 00:15:40 Is still up and running. Speaker 0 00:15:42 Wow. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. And so you can go in and have a drink where you can go in, you can Speaker 2 00:15:45 Go in and have a drink. You can go in and investigate it. Yep. Speaker 0 00:15:50 Wow. I'm, I feel like I'd go in for a drink, but also, I don't know that I'd wanna investigate it. Oh God. That sounds like some bad energy in that place. Speaker 2 00:15:57 Uh, yeah. Speaker 0 00:15:58 Like, bad, bad. Speaker 2 00:16:00 Have you heard of the Stone Tape three? Speaker 0 00:16:03 Um, only because you explained it to me the other day, but, um, it, I think it's a super interesting theory and believe in it. A hundred percent. So, Speaker 2 00:16:10 So this, this would make sense for, I'm showing Rena a picture. It looks just like a regular dive bar. Oh, it does? Speaker 0 00:16:17 It looks like a dive bar. Oh, wow. Yeah. Straight up dive bar. It looks like it has a, even has a bowl in the middle. <laugh>. All right. Explain Stone Tape Theory. Speaker 2 00:16:27 All right. So Stone Tape Theory is the theory that spirits don't actually exist. Like ghosts, like spirits of people, like dead people. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. But how we can record onto film bad events, record onto their surroundings. Yeah. So, buildings, rocks, trees, events horrific enough will imprint on it. And if you are in tuned enough with this side of things, you will see the recording. Yeah. So to speak. Speaker 0 00:16:55 So I have like mixed feelings on this because I think that it's, I think it's a combination because sometimes you come across a situation like if you are ghost hunting when thing something's responding back to you. I feel like that theory doesn't make sense. But also, like, I do think a lot of times hauntings are like residual energy from Yeah. Other events that have taken place there. So, cause Speaker 2 00:17:17 You hear of things where like the same instance happens over and over again. Right. The same thing is said, the same thing is seen. Right. All of that thing. Yeah. So that could be an instance of the Stone Tape theory mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Whereas if, you know, grandpa comes and talks to you, right. That's obviously a spirit. Speaker 0 00:17:33 Or like, when you see the PGE things when like people are like, the light switches are going on and off and someone's like slamming doors and stuff. Like Yeah. Well, something I don't feel like that stone tape theory, like that's Speaker 2 00:17:43 No, that's something that's messing with you. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:17:45 Yeah. But yeah. So the energy gets stuck somewhere and it makes it, Speaker 2 00:17:50 And then if you're more of a sensitive person, you can pick Speaker 0 00:17:52 Up on that. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:17:54 So I feel like, and this would be a perfect example of where stone Tape theory could come into play. Absolutely. Speaker 0 00:18:00 Because Speaker 2 00:18:00 So many bad things have happened here. Um, employees at the Bobby Mackey's bar, um, have reported paranormal activity from day one. And he's still skeptical after all of this. He is still skeptical, but he does believe the experiences of his employees and his wife. Speaker 0 00:18:19 But he hasn't seen anything. Speaker 2 00:18:20 He has not seen anything Speaker 0 00:18:22 Interesting. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:18:23 So Mackey has brought in clergy and mediums all who say that there's very dark forces. Speaker 0 00:18:30 Exactly. It sounds like if the Satanic cult summoned something Speaker 2 00:18:34 Yeah. Speaker 0 00:18:35 And it's still there. And, Speaker 2 00:18:36 And it's still there. Not to mention it's always been a place of death. Yeah. Like from the beginning it was built as a slaughterhouse. Right. So there's always been death associated. That's, that's the history. Okay. All right. So that is the historical part. I just hit the mic. That is the historical part. She yelled at me for talking with my hands earlier, so I'm trying really hard not to. Cause apparently I thump on the table and I, she was so sorry. She's rubbing Speaker 0 00:18:59 Her fingers on the table as she was talking. And so when I edit, I will hear and I'm like, what were we doing? And I just watched her do it and I was like, oh, that's what she, that's what, that's what it is. And I was like, okay. Not get the fuck off. Sorry. Speaker 2 00:19:11 Sorry. So now I'm talking with my other hand that's not on the table. And then No, no. You're Speaker 0 00:19:15 Smacking things. Yeah. Go. Hey, how about you sit on your hands and then, then we'll keep going Meg, just Speaker 2 00:19:21 So that, that's the history of the Bobby Mackey Speaker 0 00:19:24 Bar. Okay. Speaker 2 00:19:25 Lots of bad things. Horrible energy. We think we know where this is going. Yes. So currently, um, like we said, it's still a bar. And Angie Johnson of the Gatekeeper Paranormal Group has been given tours of the bar since 2012. Oh Speaker 0 00:19:39 Wow. Okay. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Speaker 2 00:19:41 Um, here's some of the things that she and visitors on her tours have experienced. Buckle Speaker 0 00:19:45 Up. Okay. There Speaker 2 00:19:47 Is often female voices heard, heard humming or singing from the stage. Speaker 0 00:19:51 Okay. Speaker 2 00:19:51 There's been enough singers there. And you know, the one singer who, dancer who was there. Yeah. Um, footsteps behind the stage. Shadow figures seen running across the stage. That's something that my mother-in-law said that she saw was when she looked up at the stage, the shadow figure came running across it. Speaker 0 00:20:06 Yep. Speaker 2 00:20:06 Shadow figures are scary. Speaker 0 00:20:08 They're terrifying. I had one in my closet the other night. Did you? Mm-hmm. <affirmative> and I woke up. There was the night when we were finished recording Alien, I couldn't sleep. Oh. Um, and it was like literally standing in the doorway of my closet. I don't that, and I literally was like, I just told it to go away and it stood there and then just like stepped to the side and then it was gone. And I just sat there. You Speaker 2 00:20:29 See a full on person. Like, it can't be mistaken for just, Speaker 0 00:20:33 I mean, so sometimes, sometimes obviously it, it could be mistaken, but like I, that time I was 1000% positive of what I saw. Like there was no doubt in my mind that it was a shadow figure and not like a shadow or, yeah. Then also it would have for it to move, there was no light in the room. There was nothing for, to make this thing, to make the thing move. Yeah. And that was the thing that, Speaker 2 00:20:55 So that TikTok that you sent me. Oh, another TikTok. Yep. Or maybe I sent it to you. It was, Speaker 0 00:20:59 You're the one saying TikTok this whole time. I'm just so proud of myself. I haven't said it once. You guys Oh. Just feeling good today. Speaker 2 00:21:06 That one that we launched last week, where was the basement door? Was opening, closing. It was coming. Is that what you see? Uhhuh Speaker 0 00:21:12 <affirmative>. Uhhuh <affirmative>. Speaker 2 00:21:12 Somebody That was scary. That is not what I see. Yeah. I usually see something like, phew. Speaker 0 00:21:17 So. Well it depends. I'll be honest. It depends on what's going on. Most of the time it's, uh, movement. It's not just standing stationary. I've never Speaker 2 00:21:24 Seen it stand stationary. So, Speaker 0 00:21:25 Uh, like that one was, it's not the first one I've had stand stationary, but it was the first one in a while that I have. Yeah. I climbed That Speaker 2 00:21:31 Almost sounds like, like the hat, man. Speaker 0 00:21:33 Well, that's kind of what I felt like. It, it, I, it wasn't, but also I'm not positive. It wasn't so, but it was just like, it was literally in the frame of my doorway. And at first I was like, at first I thought it was my clothes <laugh>. And then I like, cuz I was wide awake and I was like, because you Speaker 2 00:21:47 Have to think these things first before you automatically Speaker 0 00:21:49 Go back. And I was like, that's not my clothes. And then I kind of like was trying to assess what it could have been. And then as I was like looking at it, then it just stepped to the side and was gone. Ah. Speaker 2 00:21:58 I Speaker 0 00:21:58 Don't like that. And me either. So I gotta tell, pick a bricked up as a Speaker 2 00:22:03 Yeah. Pick a protection game. Come on now, bro. That's why we let you stay here. But dude, Speaker 0 00:22:08 But I've been doing some spell work this week, then I haven't done it for a while. And that's what I think it is. And I always put up like a protection circle and stuff, but sometimes Speaker 2 00:22:16 I also feel like I've been having a lot more experiences since we started doing this podcast. Speaker 0 00:22:20 I agree. And this is messing with me. You too? Oh yeah. Oh Speaker 2 00:22:23 Yeah. Okay. Cause like I was in the hallway the other day with my daughter, or maybe it was like a week ago, and we were talking before school and the laundry room door just like opened. Yeah. And that door stuck, so it's really difficult to open it. Oh Speaker 0 00:22:36 My God. Speaker 2 00:22:36 And it just opened and I looked over and she looked over and I said, okay, go get your things. And I went and checked in the laundry room Yeah. To see if like an animal was in there or something. Nope. Speaker 0 00:22:47 Remember when you were over here the other day in my, uh, bedroom door just opened mm-hmm. <affirmative>. And you look at me, you're like, is that normal? I was like, oh yeah. Text <laugh>. He redid the knobs and now just opens on it's own. That one was, but see, Speaker 2 00:22:58 We're not something spiritual there. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:23:00 But it, it is one of those things where we are people who like, we believe in it, but we also like, look, Speaker 2 00:23:04 I wanna know if it's something lo like not that spirits aren't logical. I do believe that they are if you experience it, but something that there's a, an actual physical reason for. Speaker 0 00:23:12 Yeah. Because sometimes there is just things that happen and it's not, but then other times there are things that like I cannot explain. Nope. Speaker 2 00:23:19 And we just, Speaker 0 00:23:20 We just, Speaker 2 00:23:22 We just move on. Yeah. It's happened so often that it's just like, Speaker 0 00:23:26 Yeah, that's Speaker 2 00:23:26 A, and just Speaker 0 00:23:27 Move on and just move on. And I just basically say, get outta my house. You're not welcome here. Get the book out. Speaker 2 00:23:33 Bye bye. Speaker 0 00:23:34 <laugh> only love and light. And this motherfucker, sorry for the swear words. Everybody aggressive. Jeez. Aggressive. All right. Speaker 2 00:23:42 Um, employees say that as they're cleaning up at night chairs, we're literally just kind of move across the bar room. That would scare me if something just moved across the room that would scare Speaker 0 00:23:50 Me. I think that is one of the things that I have yet to have happen. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>? Speaker 2 00:23:54 Um, no, I take that back. I've had a cup move across a dry counter before. I'm Speaker 0 00:23:59 Trying to think if I, no, I don't think that I have ever experienced any, like actual, I, the only thing I've had is lights. That's like the, I think the closest thing that I've had is lights. Speaker 2 00:24:09 My daughter has had the light switch turn on and off before Speaker 0 00:24:12 On her. Yeah. And that's, but I don't think that I've ever had anything actually, like I've had picture frames fall and stuff, but that Speaker 2 00:24:18 Could be, Speaker 0 00:24:20 It's Yeah. Up in the air. Depends I think what, when it did happen, it was supernatural. But I also, you know, you never know. Anyways. Speaker 2 00:24:27 Yeah. By the way, just a timeout. This juicy peach cider is going down. Speaker 0 00:24:32 Oh, it is going down. Well, I know. I agree. Speaker 2 00:24:34 That's really good. I Speaker 0 00:24:35 Know. I'm enjoying it. Speaker 2 00:24:36 Delightful. Speaker 0 00:24:37 Delightful. And it's great. It's only 5%. Speaker 2 00:24:40 Yes. We can have more. Speaker 0 00:24:42 Uh, tell Mr. Bu to bring it up in a minute. Speaker 2 00:24:44 <laugh> um, male voices are often heard in the restroom arguing. Oh. I mean, if you have a conflict and you don't wanna be out in the open, you're gonna go to the restroom. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>, that would be a perfect example of stone tape theory. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:24:54 Of like residual energy. Mm-hmm. <affirmative> thousand percent. I, a lot of this I feel like is don't tape theory when I would I, yeah. Speaker 2 00:25:00 Because I actually researched an episode on Stone Tape theory. I don't know if we'll do it. Maybe we will. Um, but when I was researching this episode, that's all I could think of. I feel like Speaker 0 00:25:09 If we did Stone Tape theory, we would do it with another theory that's similar. Yeah. Like that's a good idea. Maybe like that in what interdimensional kind of things are, or like, do you know what I'm saying? Speaker 2 00:25:20 We should do other dimensions. Yeah. Is that fascinating? I don't know if I can fully wrap my head around it. Speaker 0 00:25:24 I can't either. Speaker 2 00:25:25 But Speaker 0 00:25:26 There's also like a thing with stone tape that if you believe in multiple timelines, which this is also like Yeah. So much to wrap your head around that there is the theory that that is actually, like, it's happening on a different timeline and it, your timeline is just picking it up, but to even wrap your head around that is like so intense. Speaker 2 00:25:45 Yeah. So I was at a conference once and I was listening to John Tenney, who is big in the paranormal world. Yep. He's a wonderful human being. Um, and he told this story about, uh, paranormal investigation. I am paraphrasing here in like a castle in Scotland or UK somewhere. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. And these people were going through the halls and they had their flashlights and they were going in the middle of the night and they found there was some old, like, um, journals or something, Uhhuh <affirmative> that they found like written records Uhhuh <affirmative> from like hundreds of years before. And in the written record, the person who was writing said, you know, I hear voices in the halls, they're, I see torches. Like they don't know what a flashlight is. Wow. I see torches and I hear voices and they're calling out for us. So what if what that person who's writing it down is seeing the paranormal investigators from today, but it's like a time slip. Does that make Speaker 0 00:26:36 Sense? Yeah. No, that's exactly, yeah. Crazy. Yeah. Okay. Speaker 2 00:26:39 Yeah. So, and I, I butchered that John Tenia, I'm sorry, but that, but that's, that's what I got from your story. Speaker 0 00:26:44 No, but, and I think that's conventional and that's why I feel like if we did stone tape Yeah. A theory that kind of would roll into all of that, I feel. So maybe we'll talk about Yeah. Getting that together. Yes. If Speaker 2 00:26:54 I can structure a good one. We'll go into that another time. Yep. Um, blue orbs are often seen floating around the dance floor. Okay. Um, that's something again, my mother-in-law, her team saw. Speaker 0 00:27:02 And if you don't know what orbs are, cuz some people don't. Yeah. Um, they're like little balls of light that are, um, well, not balls of light. They're like balls of Well, like Speaker 2 00:27:09 Clothes. But it's different from what a camera can like, Speaker 0 00:27:13 Pick up. Yeah. Like, Speaker 2 00:27:14 Like a, like a normal thing that a camera can pick up Right. On accident. You know what I mean? Yeah. It's, it's very specific and you can see them with your, your eyes. Speaker 0 00:27:22 Your eyes. Yep. I don't think I've ever seen one in real life. I think I've only ever seen 'em in, um, pictures or video. Oh. Speaker 2 00:27:28 I saw 'em in my living room once. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:27:30 Mm-hmm. Speaker 2 00:27:30 <affirmative>. But it was right after I could see my grandpa standing in the hallway and then all of a sudden an orb went through the room and I'm like, okay. Bye grandpa. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:27:38 Because that's what they usually say. They, they're like spirits or entities. Yeah. Like spirits. Spirits. Yeah. Um, and that's just how they are able to present themselves. Spirits Speaker 2 00:27:47 Are ghosts. What do you, what do you think I always say, I say both, but I, I I think Speaker 0 00:27:51 Ghost is like the offensive term. Like the derogatory Yeah. Term for them. Spirits Speaker 2 00:27:55 Is a person. Well, Speaker 0 00:27:55 Yeah, it was a person. Yeah. A ghost of spirit is the same. Same, same, same. Same. Speaker 2 00:27:59 Yeah. But because Speaker 0 00:27:59 Some Speaker 2 00:27:59 People will say that a ghost is like a bad thing. Speaker 0 00:28:02 No, no, no. But I, but I don't think that, no, I don't think so either. But an entity that's like a, something that is not, Speaker 2 00:28:08 That was never a human. Right. Okay. I do have some stories on that. We won't go into it now, but I have, I have some interesting stories that I'm trying to be able to tell this really crazy story, but I have to get permissions first. Okay. So if I can do it. Hold on to your butts. Speaker 0 00:28:22 Oh God. <laugh>. Hold on to your butts. Speaker 2 00:28:27 Um, women are often reported being touched very inappropriately. Oh Speaker 0 00:28:31 Dear. So that's Speaker 2 00:28:32 Fun. I mean, it was a speakeasy, it was a butt. That makes sense. Speaker 0 00:28:34 All the Yeah. Yeah. The creepy ass perverted men in there. And they're like, let me get a feel while I can rose while you can. Ugh. Nasty. Speaker 2 00:28:41 That seems to be a thing with certain spirits. I just, I just wrote another episode about Gettysburg. Yep. And that's another thing that happens there a lot. Speaker 0 00:28:48 They're like inappropriately touching women. Speaker 2 00:28:50 Touching women. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:28:51 That's whenever I watch, um, kindred spirits, like if they go to a place that is like, very much like similar to this, a lot of it is like men either hating women there. Oh yes. Being really aggressive towards women or inappropriately touching women, which is pick up gross. Speaker 2 00:29:07 Why not? Anything Never change. Speaker 0 00:29:08 They don't ever change. They never change. Not even in death. And haunting <laugh> Speaker 2 00:29:14 Tour guides and guests often report what feels like a cat brushing up against their legs. Oh, Speaker 0 00:29:18 Kitty. Speaker 2 00:29:19 So, I mean, I'm sure there were animals throughout Speaker 0 00:29:21 Outside. Uh, maybe one of the slaughterhouse ones the something may, it may, maybe it's not a cat. Maybe it's a, something that was killed there. A little piggy, little sheepy. Speaker 2 00:29:29 Oh, I know. Speaker 0 00:29:31 Little baby lamb Speaker 2 00:29:32 <laugh>, a young man is often seen leaning against a pool table. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. So there's this like, like if you go, I think you're gonna find, you're gonna find something. Um, the basement is believed to be a porter to hell. That's what it's known for now. It's known as the porter to portal to hell in the basement. Speaker 0 00:29:51 Interesting. Speaker 2 00:29:51 Um, people often feel like a sense of dread. Mm-hmm. People get sick there. Mm-hmm. Rocks are thrown at them while looking at it. Speaker 0 00:29:59 Mm-hmm. <affirmative>, it sounds like something demonic, however you Speaker 2 00:30:03 Wanna call think is, I don't think the whole place is necessarily, Speaker 0 00:30:05 There's necessly, Speaker 2 00:30:06 But in the basement from everything that I read, there is something not good there and something, and let's call it an entity. Yeah. You have your spirits this found there feels like it's an entity. So I Speaker 0 00:30:17 Will say, and I, we talked about this, I think in the out of the Broom closet episode, I can't remember that I had an experience with like a negative something that was in my house. Mm-hmm. Speaker 2 00:30:25 <affirmative>. Speaker 0 00:30:25 Yeah. And, um, to the point that the lady Yeah. The, to the point that the lady who is a, um, exorcist was like telling me she's an exorcist and giving me a safe word. Re Speaker 2 00:30:37 Oh, I didn't know she gave you a safe word. Speaker 0 00:30:39 Yeah. She gave me a safe word. Speaker 2 00:30:41 Or maybe I did. When Speaker 0 00:30:42 She start started going through everything, she literally like said, okay, I want you to remember this. And at the time, I didn't understand what she was doing or what she was talking about. And it's because there was something so dark that was in my house and living like in the crawl space. In the crawl space essentially, that we still like, I don't know. But it still to this day freaks me out to think about it. But from the time that I met with her and was able to like, help get stuff out to the time when you and I did it, my sister will say, my personality changed so much. I was going through like a really difficult time. And it's wild to think how much that energy affected me. Like, because Speaker 2 00:31:17 That was right when we first met. So I didn't, I've only known the post that. Really? Yeah. Speaker 0 00:31:23 Yeah. And it's like it, and I even recognize it too. I recognize how I felt after it was done. And so I think that's something that there is also, like the other weekend we were at Grit City tours when I was feeling nauseous when we were going, yeah. There was something there to me that was like, you saw the little girl, but I was like, there's something in here that is making me physically ill. And so these things can have like a physical, Speaker 2 00:31:45 Well we did pass a old, it's, I, I think it's now a parking garage. And that was like, Speaker 0 00:31:52 Oh, demonic. It was a Speaker 2 00:31:53 Demonic cult. Mm-hmm. <affirmative> like an actual self-proclaimed demonic cult that did stuff there. Yep. So that, that could have been it. We're gonna do an, an episode on Tacoma too. And all the creepy stuff there so bad, so bad so much that I didn't, I had no idea. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:32:08 It's mm-hmm. Ooh. Anyways. Speaker 2 00:32:10 Yeah. Um, near the, well there's a set of stairs that go nowhere. It's just a set of stairs and footsteps are often heard running up and down it. Okay. Don't like that. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Um, when you go down to the quote portal of From Hell, there's a suffocating heat. Oh. Speaker 0 00:32:28 Felt, did your mother-in-law go down to the portal? Mm-hmm. <affirmative>? She did. Speaker 2 00:32:31 She did not. Great. Not great. And I have pictures of it that we'll put up on Instagram that she took. Speaker 0 00:32:36 Oh Speaker 2 00:32:37 Yeah. There was, um, I believe that's where she saw some orbs down there, or the orbs were in the bar room or both. It was one of those. But yeah, she said it wasn't great and it was just a very sickly feeling. Yeah. You wanna go? Speaker 0 00:32:51 No, I don't. Speaker 2 00:32:54 Trash cans and furniture are often said to be thrown. Speaker 0 00:32:57 Wow. Speaker 2 00:32:58 Yeah. I don't understand that. How can an entity throw something? How do you think that works? Speaker 0 00:33:04 It's energy. It's energy. It's all energy Speaker 2 00:33:06 Just takes its energy and Well, Speaker 0 00:33:07 You have to think they're not affected by gravity. Speaker 2 00:33:09 Okay. Wouldn't you think? I, I mean, I don't know. I'm not dead. No. Speaker 0 00:33:14 Well, just, I don't know how my fear theory that they're not affected by gravity. So it's like they're, they're able, if they are enough of an energetic force, they can use the energetic force that they have. The force is within them. The Speaker 2 00:33:26 Force is within them. Speaker 0 00:33:27 Who knows? Star Wars Speaker 2 00:33:28 Always back to Speaker 0 00:33:28 Star Wars. Oh, it is not, I never say Star Wars doesn't want your Speaker 2 00:33:32 Husband says Star Wars stuff all the time. Okay. But Speaker 0 00:33:33 I, it's not me. It's not you. It's not me. Your truth. Not always back to, we're not talking about TikTok and we're not talking about Canada. We're not talking about Speaker 2 00:33:39 You're doing good. You're doing good today. But you did just mention those things. Speaker 0 00:33:42 I know, but what else do I always talk about? Oh, movie quotes. Oh. When I was editing alien pancakes, the amount of movies we kept, I kept bringing up. You kept bringing up. And I'm like, Jesus Christ. Stop talking about movies. Morons us Speaker 2 00:33:53 Idiots. Lunatics. Speaker 0 00:33:55 Lunatics. Speaker 2 00:33:56 <laugh>. A man with a handlebar mustache is often heard shouting. Die gam die gam. Which is Latin for dying. Well, Speaker 0 00:34:07 Ooh, Speaker 2 00:34:08 <laugh>. Yeah. So even the spirits are scared of this place. I don't, Speaker 0 00:34:14 I took my own Speaker 2 00:34:15 Spit. Gross. Speaker 0 00:34:17 I didn't just buy off of the TikTok. I'm calling it that. Um, there is this, Speaker 2 00:34:22 Wait, you can buy things off of TikTok? Speaker 0 00:34:23 Well, it's a store that was like advertising on TikTok. Okay. And I went to their store. It's called Blue Lotus Flower. Mm. And it was supposedly, um, used by the Egyptians. And it's supposed to make you sleep really well, but give you vivid dreams. Ooh. It's supposed to open your third eye. And so did Speaker 2 00:34:38 You buy some for me? Speaker 0 00:34:38 Well, are you gonna smoke a joint? No. Speaker 2 00:34:40 Of Speaker 0 00:34:41 Blue Lotus? Nope. No, but you can also get it and make it into a tea. That's Speaker 2 00:34:44 What I was, I thought you were talking about. Speaker 0 00:34:45 So No, you can do either or by the actual thing. But they were sold out of the tea, so I went, I'll let Speaker 2 00:34:49 You go first. Yeah, Speaker 0 00:34:50 No, I'll, I'll do it because I, I don't smoke joints often, but it has happened on occasion. So I'm gonna take one. I think I was gonna try it tonight. So I'll report back and let you guys know how it's, you don't, Speaker 2 00:35:00 You don't smoke? Speaker 0 00:35:02 No, I said I don't smoke joints often. Oh. Speaker 2 00:35:03 Oh, oh, oh. I didn't think. Speaker 0 00:35:04 Well, I was gonna Speaker 2 00:35:05 Say we, well I also put up, just put up a TikTok <laugh>. Speaker 0 00:35:08 Yes. That was, but it's not like, I'm not like an everyday No. And I don't smoke cigarettes. No. Speaker 2 00:35:15 Ever. That was She does, I was never, I was commenting on the, the hacking cough. Yes, that was, she does not, no, Speaker 0 00:35:21 No, no. I do not. But the marijuana occasionally just for funsies. Speaker 2 00:35:25 We're in Washington. It's legal. Why not? Yeah. Speaker 0 00:35:26 Yeah. Just for shits and gigs. But now this blue lotus thing, I'm, I'm gonna let you guys know how good Speaker 2 00:35:31 I When do you get it? Speaker 0 00:35:32 It it, I have it downstairs. It came in the mail the other day. It did? Speaker 2 00:35:34 Yeah. Oh, you got it. I Speaker 0 00:35:35 Waited like three weeks for it. So I'm Well cuz it's supposed to help you open your third eye and for those of you who don't know your third eye, like as psychic abilities. Yeah. Which we're already like, have medium stuff going on. But I always am trying to like see if I, how much more I can get. I Speaker 2 00:35:49 Love it when I dream. Yeah. Like when I dream, it's often, um, it's not every night, but it's very vivid and it's very real. Like see and most of the time I know I'm in a dream, but sometimes I feel like I'm in a different place cuz I know I'm there sleeping in my bed, but I'm in this place that feels so Speaker 0 00:36:03 Real. I don't remember my dreams often. Oh, you don't? I usually don't. Oh, I do. And especially if I take edibles cuz I take them to sleep. Cause I have insomnia. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Um, and it's like one of the only things that's natural that knocks me out. Um, don't dream at all with those, but Really? Yeah. Marijuana makes you not, uh, dream. Oh, Speaker 2 00:36:19 I didn't know that. Speaker 0 00:36:19 Yeah. Which is actually supposedly really bad for you. So. Oh, that's why I'm trying not to do it anymore. So I got this instead. Cause I wanna see, I Speaker 2 00:36:24 Can order, but Speaker 0 00:36:25 If it goes well, I'm gonna order, I'll get the Blue Lotus and we'll make it into a tea. Maybe we'll sip it. Well doing lunatic soup and then we have to go straight home and go to bed. Because you're supposed to, it's straight to make you super tired and then have crazy dreams. So, hey, if Speaker 2 00:36:36 Something makes me sleep, that's always a good Speaker 0 00:36:38 Thing. Yeah. And if, Hey guys, if I have a crazy dream on it, I'm gonna, I'll do do a story tomorrow and tell everyone what the fuck happened. Please do. I'm excited. Speaker 2 00:36:45 I'm so excited. Speaker 0 00:36:45 Well, I'm kind of nervous. Speaker 2 00:36:47 I mean, I'm, I'm letting you go first. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:36:49 You can sit out back with me. Why? Well, I took it up and we'll see how it goes. Speaker 2 00:36:54 We're fine guys. We're fine. Speaker 0 00:36:56 I mean, it's normal. Maybe not for me. Do you? Speaker 2 00:36:58 How many people I know now? Like, either I've told or they've just found this and I'm getting messages. O often like every day from people, friends, teachers who are listening mm-hmm. <affirmative> and commenting and it's all good things, but it's like, Speaker 0 00:37:12 Oh, I know. It is. Like, I think we both went into this thinking that it was gonna be a bunch of strangers listening to us. Yep. And that was what we wanted. But a lot of it's people we know, which is fine and we love everybody, but I'm just kind of like, what? At this point I'm just like, whatever. It's who I am. Get over it. And I Speaker 2 00:37:27 Think that's a really good thing because it's just, we're just showing who we are for realsies and take it or leave it. Speaker 0 00:37:34 It's, it's a shit show and welcome to it. Speaker 2 00:37:36 We like each other. We Speaker 0 00:37:38 Do. We have a good time. <laugh>. If anything, this is just our happy time <laugh>. Speaker 2 00:37:41 Right. It's like Speaker 0 00:37:42 We don't, we're not bothered by kids, not bothered by husbands. We Speaker 2 00:37:44 Get to drink in peace Speaker 0 00:37:46 And then we hear fun stories and we talk about our dumb ass lives. Not dumb ass lives. Speaker 2 00:37:51 Well, Speaker 0 00:37:52 Moments. Speaker 2 00:37:52 Moments Speaker 0 00:37:54 Anyways. Speaker 2 00:37:54 Okay. Um, Mackey's wife, remember Ma Bobby Mackey is not Oh Lord. Someone's at the door. Speaker 0 00:38:02 I think, I think my soul just left my body. Speaker 2 00:38:05 We just had to take a momentary break. I thought someone was banging on the door was not Speaker 0 00:38:11 It. I think that we're right next to the bathroom and, and one of the kids was in there, but it was like in the middle of what we're all talking about. Ugh. I, oh, that wasn't, again, wasn't that it again? What is that noise? Speaker 2 00:38:26 Ghosties. I mean, we are opening ourselves up for this shit. Like, oh, Speaker 0 00:38:31 I already know. I wanna, I I'm gonna, I need to put a protection thing up after this. I feel Speaker 2 00:38:35 Like, um, one time I went to a medium and she said, you know, once you have gifts and, and acknowledge it, you're like a freaking lighthouse and you have to learn how to turn yourself off now. Please. Otherwise I'll show you at your door. Was it cast? It was, yeah. Speaker 0 00:38:48 That's, she said the same thing to me. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:38:50 She's like, the doors open and just like, if you open your door to your house, anybody on the street can come walking in and they could be good or they Speaker 0 00:38:57 Could be bad. I kind of wanna do another reading with her. I don't think there's anything negative in my house anymore. But I also just like, the last time scared me so badly how her reaction was like Speaker 2 00:39:06 Really? Speaker 0 00:39:07 I, I like, I feel like I should put it as like a bonus thing to hear the beginning of it, of what she talks about. It fucked me up. I was like, Speaker 2 00:39:16 <laugh>. I mean that wouldn't be a bad thing. Speaker 0 00:39:18 No. Yeah. Go. If you guys wanna hear it, let let me know. I don't care. I won't like share my whole reading. But it went in there looking to connect to my dad and instead it turned out to her telling me that I'm a medium and I have all this stuff. I'm like all Speaker 2 00:39:33 The spooky Speaker 0 00:39:33 Stuff that apparently I have a winky on one side. Have I said this before? No. I have a winky on my right side, like to the point where I had a nickname and junior high named like it was a on the chair squad. I was Winky. Wow. Cause this one side is like, it's like a little, like when I smile it just winks a little more. But I also have a dimple on the side. But she told me that it's like that because I saw so many horrific, horrific things in my past life through being a medium that it like Oh, interesting. Because that's disturbing stuff Speaker 2 00:39:59 I need to recover. Yeah. Um, just in case we cut it all out, Mr. Bubu just came in and told us about his job at the Slaughterhouse. Yeah, Speaker 0 00:40:07 I know. So Speaker 2 00:40:08 I can talk about the demonic stuff all day long. I never wanna hear that. Speaker 0 00:40:13 I'll be honest. I don't think we'll keep it in. So I'm hope, I think you guys will hear after this because I've been married to him for 13 years and dated for a while and I knew he works in this slaughterhouse and I've heard some stories, but he just like dropped us. I I wasn't, I wasn't expecting him to say all that and Speaker 2 00:40:29 He's smiling like an idiot because of how uncomfortable I Speaker 0 00:40:31 Am. I just was more like, he just told me that, that he used to stu them and then that they had to be killed a certain way before the religious practice. And I thought that part was interesting. But then he just went on a whole nother thing. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:40:41 That part was interesting how the meat had to be halal and the process of doing that. That was very interesting. Yeah. But Speaker 0 00:40:47 Mm-hmm. Not the rest. I'm actually nauseous after that. So anyways. Can now Speaker 2 00:40:51 Let's, okay. Speaker 0 00:40:51 He did bring us up a new cider. So this one is, Speaker 2 00:40:53 I've been wanting to try this for a long time. Oh, this is also 5%. We're Speaker 0 00:40:57 Good. Yeah, we're doing good. So this one is um, from Incline, which is one of our favorite, but it's not, it's like their, was this their original cider before they were incline Speaker 2 00:41:05 Or they they buy it like they Is that Speaker 0 00:41:08 What it's Oh, is that what it is? I just Speaker 2 00:41:09 Bought? No, it says Auburn. No. Uh, produced in canned buy incline cider Auburn Washington. Okay. Speaker 0 00:41:13 But I feel like they said it was their original one and then they like incline bears the Yeah. Bears original. It's just a craft original haze hard craft. Speaker 2 00:41:25 I'm gonna share one cuz these are, uh, they're Speaker 0 00:41:27 Big boys. Speaker 2 00:41:27 They're 19 ounces. Speaker 0 00:41:29 Ooh. It just tastes like a good apple cider. It's very appley. Speaker 2 00:41:33 I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't that. Speaker 0 00:41:35 Yeah. Meer, but it's good. Speaker 2 00:41:37 No, that's really good. Speaker 0 00:41:38 Yeah, I like it. It's actually perfect. Like pallet cleanser after the peach Speaker 2 00:41:41 Cider. Speaker 0 00:41:42 All right. Cheers. Cheers. Cheers. To Oh, brainwash recovery. Me after that. God recovery. Speaker 2 00:41:48 Who? Okay, so back to the story. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>, uh, remember how I said Bobby Mackey is not a firm believer, but he believes his employees and family, right? He believes that they have experiences. Well, his wife refuses to step foot inside the bar. Speaker 0 00:42:05 Okay. Speaker 2 00:42:06 One day she went to the basement and she was overcome with the scent of roses. Do you remember Johanna who was pregnant and Yes. Killed her father and then took her own life? Yeah. Because her father killed her. Speaker 0 00:42:19 Her boyfriend. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:42:20 Um, she was said to always smell of roses. That's another theme that you, you Yeah. Through this place is the scent of Roses. Mackey's wife reports being grabbed around the waist and picked up and thrown down in the basement near the portal to hell. Um, then she was on the stairs and she was pushed down them. When she turned, she saw a man that matches the pictures taken of Scott Jackson who murdered his pregnant girlfriend Pearl and decapitated him. Oh geez. And, um, saw him and his roommate, um, who they were both hanged for the killing of her. Oh wow. Okay. I didn't mention that before. Yeah. And then when she saw the apparitions, they were shouting, get out, get out. That's terrifying. That is Speaker 0 00:43:04 Super terrifying. I would not step foot in that bar either. Yeah. Uhuh like, no freaking way. Speaker 2 00:43:09 I think save the smell of roses. Any of those occurrences, I would be done. Speaker 0 00:43:14 Um, yeah. Speaker 2 00:43:15 Picked up and thrown, pushed down the stairs. Shout it out. Speaker 0 00:43:19 And you want us to go there? Yeah, I do. Okay. Speaker 2 00:43:22 Just once. Just once you, Speaker 0 00:43:24 How about you take your mother-in-law and I'll, um, I'll meet you at the hotel. Speaker 2 00:43:28 You'll be, you'll be sitting there. What is it, con Kentucky. It's bourbon. Oh, you don't like bourbon? Speaker 0 00:43:32 No, don't like bourn. I, there's plenty of booze in Kentucky. I'll find something. I'll be fine. I'll be fine. I'll find some Moon chan Speaker 2 00:43:39 <laugh>. Okay, so last week we were talking about, um, alien pancakes and they were from Wisconsin and we whipped out that southern accent. Yay. Today we're actually talking about the south. And that was the first time we've whipped out that accent. Speaker 0 00:43:53 I know. I'm really impressed also because I think I'm, I think I'm just like Speaker 2 00:43:58 Stunned. Speaker 0 00:43:59 Yeah. So scary <laugh>. I, there's a lot of like, there's a Speaker 2 00:44:04 Lot going on and then thing, and then we hear about the slaughterhouse and Speaker 0 00:44:08 Who, I think we're both still reeling from that story. That's not good. Speaker 2 00:44:11 Flat. The gatekeeper paranormal group brought in a P priest and when he was in there, the lights began to flicker and the priest became so dangerously ill that they had to take him out. Speaker 0 00:44:25 E Speaker 2 00:44:27 Don't like that. Speaker 0 00:44:28 I don't like that either. Mm-hmm. Speaker 2 00:44:29 It's when other beans start to attack religious beans. Speaker 0 00:44:35 Right. Speaker 2 00:44:36 There's some, even if I don't agree with most religions when it's that much of an attack, it's like, Speaker 0 00:44:42 Well, it's something that I think we, I think we talked about this in another episode, I can't remember, but because like I said, the medium said that she's the only female exorcist in the state of Washington, the one who I saw. Yeah. And to me, I struggle combining, like being a medium with religion personally because I just do, but obviously there is that combination and so I want to know, I I it something I actually just want to ask her is like, are there such thing, like what is a demonn? Like what is that? If you, because I don't think she believes in hell because Speaker 2 00:45:18 I, okay. After I left mainstream religion, I kind of came and I don't have any backing to this, but a demonn is more of an otherworldly being Okay. That is meant to instill terror. Yeah. I don't necessarily believe in hell yeah. Or the devil or anything like that. But what does that feeling of those beings create? Yeah. Speaker 0 00:45:41 Okay. That does make Speaker 2 00:45:42 Sense. Does that make sense? Yeah. Speaker 0 00:45:44 It's like something that's, uh, based off of fear and evil. Like it's, and it thrives on fear. Yes. They live off of fear Speaker 2 00:45:51 And I don't know where they come from. Have they always been here? They, Speaker 0 00:45:54 Are they interdimensional? Are Speaker 2 00:45:55 They interdimensional? Speaker 0 00:45:56 Is it just energy? And they energy suckers and they take your energy from you. It Speaker 2 00:46:00 Wasn't created from negative energy, negative events. I mean, that Speaker 0 00:46:03 Actually kind of makes sense. There's Speaker 2 00:46:05 So much to it. Speaker 0 00:46:07 Interesting. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Okay. Speaker 2 00:46:09 So now we're gonna talk a little bit about Carl Lawson. Um, my mother-in-law actually has an experience with Carl Larson. Okay. Um, Carl Larson was the caretaker of the Bobby Macey bar for many, many years. He lived upstairs in an apartment meant for caretakers. Um, he said to have many experiences. One day he was taking a bath and he felt two hands grab him by the shoulders and push him under the water. That is terrifying. Wait, Speaker 0 00:46:35 He, there's a bath in the bar? Upstair? Speaker 2 00:46:37 No, he had a, he lived in the caretaker's place. Oh, you said that upstairs. Sorry. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:46:40 Got it. Okay. Speaker 2 00:46:41 5%. Speaker 0 00:46:42 No, just honestly, my head was just like, we're Speaker 2 00:46:45 Still spinning from the story. We were told Speaker 0 00:46:49 Too many visions in my head from that. Um, okay. So he was in the caretaker's house above the bar. Yeah. And he was shoved, he Speaker 2 00:46:55 Was taking a bath and he felt two hands grabbed his shoulders and pushed him under the water. I am, I'm out that, I'm out at that point. I know. I said these things don't scare me, but there are certain things that scare me. Speaker 0 00:47:04 Right. Being physically touched, like that, being Speaker 2 00:47:05 Physically touched, I'm out. No Speaker 0 00:47:08 Thousand. I mean, like I said, I've been physically touched, but it's not like someone aggressively pushing me aggress, just like this feels like someone has their hand on my shoulder and I'm like, mm-hmm. <affirmative>, what the fuck? And that's scary enough as it is. Speaker 2 00:47:18 It is. Um, he became possessed by said to be possessed by demonic entities and he actually had to have an exorcism performed on him in the bar. We are just creating so much more energy in this location. Speaker 0 00:47:34 Well, I mean, I think Yeah. And going in there fearful, they feed off that, that's mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Yep. Speaker 2 00:47:42 Um, he was said to have unfortunately slowly gone, insane before he died. He began to dig a well on the property because something was telling him too. Speaker 0 00:47:53 Yep. So Speaker 2 00:47:53 He was just digging this hole on the property because something was telling him too, Speaker 0 00:47:56 And he was living there that whole time. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Yeah. That's not good. Speaker 2 00:47:59 Um, per my mother-in-law who visited about a year after he died, the furniture in his living quarter was still there. Like she went, everything was still there from when he lived there. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Um, she went to tour to kind of look through the area and she had rocks thrown at her up in his apartment. Speaker 0 00:48:14 Uhuh. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Oh, <laugh>. Speaker 2 00:48:19 Um, like I said earlier, the basement also reports rocks and pebbles being thrown at people. So that seems to be a theme in this place near the room. That little tiny room that looks like a prison. Yep. Um, a Taurus started having a panic attack, walked away and had three scratch marks that went from their ankle wrapped around their shin and went up to their knee and they didn't have it before entering. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:48:43 So like some kind of demonic. Mm-hmm. <affirmative> A three that's like demo scratch Speaker 2 00:48:46 Marks going from, I mean, that's a big scratch mark. Yeah. You would, you would know if you like tripped over something. No, Speaker 0 00:48:52 A thousand percent. Yeah. And they just show up, wrap up your shin. Speaker 2 00:48:55 Yeah. That's not like you fell into something. No. Speaker 0 00:48:59 That, that's Speaker 2 00:48:59 Terrifying. Speaker 0 00:49:00 Again, would never go back. I mean, I don't even think I want to go in the first place. We're really not selling this place, Meg. Honestly. 10 outta 10. Speaker 2 00:49:06 I'm trying, not trying Speaker 0 00:49:07 Selling it like I think I am. I'm down with a place that's like just straight up haunted. Like when we're talking about like just Ghosties Yeah. Spirits. Speaker 2 00:49:14 This is more Speaker 0 00:49:15 Than that. This is, this is, I, I'll be honest with you. The other things you could convince me, I don't think you can convince me to come here. I don't think you can. And if you did, maybe I would stay in the main part of the bar during the day when other people are there. There's no way in hell you would get me down near that. Well, to Speaker 2 00:49:30 Go down to the gates of Speaker 0 00:49:31 Hell, Duff buck, no Speaker 2 00:49:32 Portal to hell. Excuse me. Speaker 0 00:49:34 I will let you go to the portal to hell. And I will, you Speaker 2 00:49:36 Don't even wanna see it. I wanna see the Speaker 0 00:49:37 Don't, don't wanna see it. I can already tell. I don't wanna see. It makes me, well, Speaker 2 00:49:41 I'll show you pictures. <laugh>. Speaker 0 00:49:43 Say take a video. Send me a video. I don't even know if I wanna see that. Too much energy. Nope. I'm out, Speaker 2 00:49:48 Down in the basement. They're said to be the wall of faces. So the concrete walls. Speaker 0 00:49:53 That's not scary. <laugh>, Speaker 2 00:49:55 The concrete wall has water stains, Uhhuh, <affirmative>. And they look like faces. Some of them look funny, some of them look evil. And it said that they change Speaker 0 00:50:04 Again. <laugh> not telling this. I think this one Speaker 2 00:50:08 Was scary. There's a lot. Speaker 0 00:50:10 Like, was your mother-in-law Okay, after this? Speaker 2 00:50:13 Oh, I'll have to ask her. I think she was okay. I don't remember her saying anything negative about this. Was Speaker 0 00:50:18 This like, did she do this recently? It was Speaker 2 00:50:20 Before Covid, so I think it was like 2018 or 19. Oh, Speaker 0 00:50:23 Are there pictures of this face wall? Face faces of, in the wall. Speaker 2 00:50:26 I'll have to look through all my files. Yeah. But yeah, I'll send 'em to Speaker 0 00:50:28 You. Look through your, your files. My Speaker 2 00:50:30 Files. Well, she sent me a whole lot Speaker 0 00:50:31 Of stuff. I'm excited, but not that's, I think I'm gonna live vicariously through her, um, ghost hunting and, uh, choose 10 outta 10. Never to go to this fucking place. Yeah, we'll Speaker 2 00:50:42 Go. Um, <laugh>. Speaker 0 00:50:49 Oh, no. Speaker 2 00:50:50 Pearl is often seen throughout the bar. She was the, um, young lady who was decapitated. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Um, she's seen either pregnant or just walking around, or she has seen headless wearing turn of the century clothing. I think the headless one would scare me Speaker 0 00:51:06 More. Um, just a little. I don't feel like a pregnant ghost. Is that scary? A headless ghost? Yeah. Speaker 2 00:51:13 <laugh>. It's Speaker 0 00:51:16 Pregnant and headless. Speaker 2 00:51:17 I mean, <laugh>, now we're talking, Speaker 0 00:51:19 Oh shit. Speaker 2 00:51:20 There's a large beer. Uh, there's a large mirror in the bar. Oftentimes people will look into it and there'll be spirits surrounding them in the reflection. Speaker 0 00:51:30 Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Speaker 2 00:51:31 I mean, it just keeps going. It just keeps Speaker 0 00:51:33 Going. And like I said, these, those people, those things don't scare me, but there's obviously something that is like demonic. All of it Speaker 2 00:51:39 Put together is scary. Speaker 0 00:51:40 It's scary. Yeah. Like, I mean, when I say they don't scare me, I mean like without the demonic stuff, I might might go in there and see, but like every, this is just too much. Speaker 2 00:51:50 All of it too much. Um, an employee reported seeing a quote, dark angry man behind the bar, as well as the spirit of a woman who calls herself Johanna. Oh. Whenever, like I said before, whenever Johanna is seen, the scent of roses fills the air. Yeah. So all these people who have died on the property are still there. Speaker 0 00:52:08 Yeah. They get stuck. Speaker 2 00:52:09 They get stuck. And there's a couple of theories as to why. One of the theories is that there's a river that runs along near it mm-hmm. <affirmative>. And it is said that spirits cannot cross water. Speaker 0 00:52:19 Okay. Speaker 2 00:52:19 So that's one of, that's one of the theories. Um, I think the portal to hell might have something to do with it. Speaker 0 00:52:25 I, yeah. I would say there's something, there're like keeping this theory there, keeping them there, because I don't like, realistically, like someone dies on the water. What does that mean? They're stuck in the water forever. Speaker 2 00:52:34 Um, I just watched an episode of, uh, kindred Spirits where they were on a ship in like Michigan. Yeah. And that's kind of what they were talking about, how they were stuck down there Speaker 0 00:52:46 Because of the water. Speaker 2 00:52:47 I don't know if it was because of the water, but they were talking about how all these spirits who died in these shipwrecks are stuck down there. Speaker 0 00:52:52 I watched that one too. I know. Did you what I'm talking about? Yeah. I've watched every episode. That's the one. It's not a new one, right? Speaker 2 00:52:58 Uh, I believe it's this year. Yeah. Speaker 0 00:52:59 But it, but it already aired. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I watch him as the air, because I love that show. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:53:03 Um, John Tenney, who I talked about before with that story mm-hmm. <affirmative>, um, he was on that episode. Oh yeah. That's who that was. Oh, Speaker 0 00:53:09 Mm-hmm. <affirmative>. Gotcha. Okay. Um, I mean, that just makes me, sadly, if someone drowns, it means they're stuck. Speaker 2 00:53:17 I don't personally believe that. Speaker 0 00:53:19 I don't believe that either. But Speaker 2 00:53:21 Maybe that's just where they, the spirits come from at that point. Hmm. I don't believe that they're stuck down there. Speaker 0 00:53:27 I think, but I think with Bobby Mackie that I think there's something that, something something is keeping their spirits, their, their spirit. There Speaker 2 00:53:35 Could be. Speaker 0 00:53:36 That's my theory. Speaker 2 00:53:37 I mean, that's the thing with all of these things that we talk about, there's, there's a big question mark with all of it. Right. Because we don't know for sure. Speaker 0 00:53:42 And these are just our opinions. Like, these are our opinions. And you might think the opposite. I Speaker 2 00:53:46 Mean, you might think we're batshit crazy because we feel like we save that up. Speaker 0 00:53:50 This every episode we are bat shit crazy. We're Speaker 2 00:53:53 Lunatics. Speaker 0 00:53:53 We are lunatics doing the fun. Speaker 2 00:53:56 Now we're going into the paranormal investigators of New England. Okay. All right. They went and visited. Okay. It was 2018. So it was before, uh, COVID, one of the investigators, um, this is one of their stories that they saw. Um, they saw the ghost of a man sitting at the table on the dance floor. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>, he had a brown sports coat, jeans on, and a cowboy hat. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>, he wore glasses and had gray hair. Later during the co tour, um, the tour guide showed a picture mm-hmm. <affirmative>. And it was the man that she saw sitting at the bar. Ooh. Um, the picture was of the caretaker Carl Lawson. Speaker 0 00:54:29 Oh shit. Yeah. Speaker 2 00:54:31 So he's still there too. And this place is what supposedly killed him. Drove him mad. And, and Speaker 0 00:54:36 He can't leave. He's still there. God, that's super fucking sad. Speaker 2 00:54:40 Um, one of the investigators went to the restroom and came out and a woman said, Hey, Speaker 0 00:54:46 Hey. Speaker 2 00:54:46 They were alone. They were alone in there. Hey. Hey. Um, there were shadows seen of people on the dance floor. One was riding the mechanical bull. So at least some of 'em are having fun. Speaker 0 00:54:58 Yeehaw. Have you Speaker 2 00:54:59 Ever done a mechanical Speaker 0 00:54:59 Bowl? Oh yeah. I haven't. Do you know who I am? Speaker 2 00:55:01 Hi, <laugh>. Speaker 0 00:55:03 We, Speaker 2 00:55:04 I wanna do one. Speaker 0 00:55:05 My sister used to work in a bar, um, not a bar restaurant that had a mechanical bowl. And so my grandma one time bought us all bull rides cuz she came to visit. She had it at work. It was, it was this place called Saddle Ranch. And it was like, kind of like Hooters, but not, Speaker 2 00:55:19 And they had a mechanical ball. Speaker 0 00:55:20 Yeah. She was in a calendar for 'em. <laugh>. Speaker 2 00:55:23 I'm sure she wants you to tell that <laugh>. Speaker 0 00:55:25 She don't care. I don't think she does <laugh>. Um, she was hot. It was like, you know, she looked good. Whatever. Um, yeah, my grandma got us all bull rides. That sounds like fun though. But I've done a bunch of 'em. Like, I, I, not a bunch, but like, I, I'm not good. Oh, I did one, um, Mars Farms up here. Speaker 2 00:55:42 Oh, they halfway, Speaker 0 00:55:42 They had, so for Halloween, like two years ago. Speaker 2 00:55:46 Okay. Speaker 0 00:55:46 Maybe I did a bull ride then. I, I mean I, my mom and I were drinking champagne and seemed like a great idea. And how was Speaker 2 00:55:52 It? Speaker 0 00:55:52 I mean, not good. It's not like I can hang on long, but, you know, it's when, when you're drunk, it seems like a great time. Speaking Speaker 2 00:55:58 Of that, they do the haunted forest every year. Are we going? Speaker 0 00:56:00 Yeah, actually I, I do that every year. You've never done it? I've Speaker 2 00:56:03 Never done it. We went to, we went to it once with a group of friends and um, one of them was just way too scared. So we end up doing the corn maze. Oh, Speaker 0 00:56:12 Okay. Well you'll we'll you'll go with Mr. Booboo and I, and this is what happens every time is that they, I scream a lot and I swear a lot. Shocker. Speaker 2 00:56:22 But here's the thing. If I go through a haunted house, like nothing's gonna come out at me with a chainsaw. Speaker 0 00:56:29 No, but they have fake ones. Speaker 2 00:56:30 Well, I know they do, but it's still, that is, and they have fucking clowns. Speaker 0 00:56:35 So I will say, are you scared of clowns? Speaker 2 00:56:37 No, I am scared of clowns. Speaker 0 00:56:38 Oh my god. Clown. Speaker 2 00:56:40 Okay. Clowns. We've learned that I am scared of the ocean. <laugh> Speaker 0 00:56:44 And Speaker 2 00:56:45 Sirens apparently. And clowns. Okay. Speaker 0 00:56:49 Um, well, zombies are a Speaker 2 00:56:51 Let's, and that's a big part of it. Speaker 0 00:56:53 Big part of a haunted house. And it, you know, and I'm a very, like, if I know it's not real, I know it's not real and I don't want my fear take over, but does it still like scare me? And I'm like, get me the fuck outta here. Like, Speaker 2 00:57:04 No, there's your winky. I Speaker 0 00:57:05 Oh, you see it? I see it now. Speaker 2 00:57:06 Uhhuh. Speaker 0 00:57:06 <laugh>. Um, and so, because I swear and I'm like, Speaker 2 00:57:11 Bet you're a Speaker 0 00:57:12 Good, fuck you. No, no, no. I like, just say fuck you over and over again is essentially what happens. And so then, but then text will say my name and they'll be like, Rayna. And then they'll say, Hey Rayna. And then they'll start yelling it. So then the people ahead will start it. And this has happened a few times, so then it's fucking terrifying. And they're looking for you and they have like, you know, things coming out of corn and chainsaws and I mean, it's so much fun, but I always lose my voice. I'm always almost pee my pants. And, um, but I'll do it again every year at least twice. It's fun. I love it. My dad used to work in a haunted house growing up too. So like he bought, there was a haunted house in Des Moines. And so my mom would literally take my sister and I in when we were like four and five and put us under her big jacket. Speaker 0 00:57:59 Oh my gosh. And walk us through until it was the part where my dad was and he did it. Cause are you serious? He was friends with the mayor of, um, Des Moines. And so we would ask him to be a part of it. My dad loved it and he was the, um, mad doctor. So he would be in a doctor's outfit like chopping off people's legs. And so he would come home at night covered in fake blood and like in his costume and everything. But so we had to be, we knew from a very young age that it was not real, you know, if that makes sense. So yeah. I, it's like almost like a fond memory going even though I terrified, but I, cuz I used to go in as a baby baby and my mom would just hide us and they, you know, they would be like, people would know who she was and they'd, they'd be nice to us. But yeah, Speaker 2 00:58:40 My heart is starting to be thinking about going through this cause Oh my God. Because of the jump scarce. Like I know their Speaker 0 00:58:47 Point is Speaker 2 00:58:48 To actually scare you. I know it's not real. Yeah. <laugh>, Speaker 0 00:58:53 The jump scares get me though because they the Yeah. The jump scares get me. That's Speaker 2 00:58:58 So we're gonna have to have like one of those cameras on us at all times. <laugh>, we're gonna have to set this up so that we can air it. Speaker 0 00:59:04 Perfect. Speaker 2 00:59:05 And you're gonna hear me say things that you've never heard me say both. Speaker 0 00:59:08 Oh. You'll hear me say the same things I say all the time, so it's fine. You know how when we talk about going to haunted things, you just tell me we're doing it. I am buying the tickets. We are going, I'm going to tell your husband. I will text him and I'll be like, Hey Doug, we're taking her out and Tex and I will take you and you're coming and we're going. Speaker 2 00:59:24 I'm gonna like hold onto you the entire time. Speaker 0 00:59:25 That's fine. Well cuz I hold onto Tex, but that means you're at the end. Oh Speaker 2 00:59:30 No. <laugh>. My face is turning red. I know your thigh turning. Speaker 0 00:59:35 You guys can we also acknowledge the fact that like real ghosties don't terrify her, but a a fake haunted house with actors and fake blood is absolutely so terrifying that you can't do it. Speaker 2 00:59:48 I don't think I have a choice, Megan. I don't think I Speaker 0 00:59:51 We're going and that's that. Speaker 2 00:59:54 Okay. <laugh>. Speaker 0 00:59:57 All right. Back to the story. Woo. Speaker 2 00:59:59 Okay, moving on. Uh, my mother-in-law, I already said this, saw a shadow of a person run across the stage mm-hmm. <affirmative>, um, while investigating a room, the investigator investigator's chest began to tighten and the tour guide told them that someone had had a heart attack in that room. Yeah. So there's a lot of other fatalities in this place that we didn't even go into. So we just talked about the the big ones. Speaker 0 01:00:20 Yeah. Like the well-known ones, but I'm sure there's a bunch of other, that kind of energy and gross things not good. Speaker 2 01:00:27 Um, yeah. And there were, there's many shadow people in the basement. Um, and it's reported by many people to feel very demonic. Speaker 0 01:00:36 Well Speaker 2 01:00:37 They said that they feel very negative energy and they don't want to be there. Speaker 0 01:00:42 It sounds like I don't want to either <laugh>. So I think we have that in common. Speaker 2 01:00:46 Um, a medium that walked through said that the basement there are quote many dead. Speaker 0 01:00:51 Hmm. Speaker 2 01:00:52 Oh. So I think there are people that have died there with, we don't even know. Yeah. There's records of people there that we don't even know. Cause all the place, all the times that it was like there was no people there. Like it was abandoned. What better place to do that than Speaker 0 01:01:07 Well, yeah. Especially if there's a Well that people are already dumping stuff down it sounds like. So I mean, if no one's what like police officers aren't going to the bottom of that. Well I'm guessing I Speaker 2 01:01:15 Would, I would take a camera, like I would lower a camera down there to see what's down there. Cause wouldn't you just be curious? Speaker 0 01:01:21 Bet you a million dollars. It wouldn't work once you got it down there. Oh, Speaker 2 01:01:24 That would be interesting. Mm-hmm. <affirmative> that would be Speaker 0 01:01:26 Interesting because they mess with your equipment. Speaker 2 01:01:28 Yeah, they do. Speaker 0 01:01:29 They don't want you to see it. Bet you that and again, knock your socks off. I will not be there. I'll be at my haunted house. Uh, the fake one with the fake blood and the fake people. You go to the Bobby Macey bar and you have fun <laugh> go hang out with your mother-in-law. Speaker 2 01:01:43 Okay. There is something wrong sending Speaker 0 01:01:44 Love to her. There's Speaker 2 01:01:45 Something wrong with me that I would go here, but I'm scared to go there. <laugh>. Yeah. Speaker 0 01:01:47 I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with you. I think that's what we've established. So that's 10 outta 10 <laugh>. Speaker 2 01:01:52 So we have, um, pictures of the, well the bar, we have audio recordings and EVPs from the well area and we're gonna put post all of that when this airs. Yes. Speaker 0 01:02:03 We were worried this was gonna be a two-parter, but we got through the history. I I had to keep us on track and I tried you guys, I tried real hard not to get us a tangent. Especially during like the history part because sometimes when we go too far off off we do that in, oh no, we don't do that. It's not my ADHD leading us triumphantly to, um, the middle of goddamn nowhere all the time. So Speaker 2 01:02:26 I like going to the middle of Speaker 0 01:02:27 Nowhere. Yeah. But it saves my ass in editing. I can tell you that much if we're not, uh, cutting off the history the whole time so that you guys actually hear what's going on and then our stories can come in, but All right. Alright. Right. Speaker 2 01:02:36 Well that was, that was a good one. Yeah, that was, Speaker 0 01:02:39 That was a good one. So let us know. Would you guys go to the Bobby Macey bar? Speaker 2 01:02:43 Would you guys go to a haunted forest? What's your favorite haunted forest house? Speaker 0 01:02:46 What's, yeah, what's your favorite house? A haunted house in Washington. There are some really messed up ones though that I don't do them. Like the downtown ones that the radio stations do. There are some real fucked up ones. Really? Speaker 2 01:02:55 Oh yeah. What makes 'em so Speaker 0 01:02:56 Well there's one specifically that's like a crematorium or something like that. And it was actually a crematorium and they do the haunted house in there. Mm-hmm. I don't fuck. That's like a double haunted house. Isn't that the Speaker 2 01:03:06 One? There's one in Georgetown, Seattle. Oh, that's one. It's a George. Speaker 0 01:03:09 Yep. Okay. Yep. Yep. Um, yeah. I don't do that one. I think Speaker 2 01:03:11 Doug's done that one. Speaker 0 01:03:12 Yep. I won. I won't. This one's at like a nice little farm in the middle of a little farm town and it's scary but it is not. You guys go that's pour yourself a cold glass of, uh, lunatic soup. Speaker 2 01:03:23 Not while you're driving. Speaker 0 01:03:24 Not while you're driving. Speaker 2 01:03:26 And write us in if you have any stories to tell us. Haunted stories. Alien stories. Mm-hmm. <affirmative>, we kind of, we've gone through our, our, you know, good old standbys and we're branching out. Yes. I've contacted a few cider places in the area to Speaker 0 01:04:02 See. We gotta get our butts to Seattle, which is gonna be the hard part cuz Speaker 2 01:04:05 We, that is hard children. Mm. Speaker 0 01:04:07 Mm-hmm. <affirmative> got a lot of them. Alright, have a good night everybody. Have Speaker 2 01:04:11 A good night. We'll see you next week. Bye. Bye.
