Watch Party (00:00.896)
Meg, did you know that a good husband is like a bra? no. He should be supportive and help support your burdens. But mostly, he's just there to touch your boobs.
I mean, that's a good one. That's a pretty good one. That's a good one. I just had a piece of the cheese from the charcuterie board you put out, and holy shit, that was good. Where is it from again? It is from Bomb Charcuterie, which is located in Sumner, Washington. And that wasn't even for an ad placement. just really liked that. That was so pretty good. I mean, I'll throw her name out there. She participated in my cocktail book that I did. Her recipe was a dirty martini, which had me at hello. That is my life. I love a dirty martini.
And I went down to give her a cocktail book and she gave me two of these little mini charcuterie packs. they're cute. And they're freaking adorable. Like, I would just eat that for lunch. so would I. Like, 1 ,000%. Like, with a little brie wheel in there. But we're doing our watch party today. So it's like perfect day. busted it out. And we're like, it's Sunday afternoon. No kids. Zero children. Well, mine are at home. And two of mine are at summer camp and the other one's at my mom's house. So I was like, let's watch something scary and have a couple bevrginos. I mean, it is broad daylight.
I'm not going to lie, I need it to be broad daylight to watch. Also, if you are watching on the YouTubes, you can see our dog, Jandice, here, which we don't let her in the room when we record normally because she breathes so loud. So she's a chow chow and the breathing is extra. Apple AirTag on her? Yes. we just got one for Ichabod. Yeah, I'm not going to lie. I don't like it, but we'll talk. That's that's a story for another day. Ichabod will be fine. The dogs, if they eat it, not good. that's not great. Yeah. Not that she does, but they could. But they could.
Anyways, I just heard that so was debating about taking it off. Alright, well hello and welcome to Lunatic Soup, the podcast where we go into all things wild, weird, and unknown. We're your host Meg. And I'm Reyna, ready to brew up some Lunatic Soup. Let's go. Alright, we got this delight. Whoa.
Watch Party (01:54.626)
Why? You don't want to be in it? I don't doesn't want to be in it. you don't want to be in it. Like, either in or not in. In or out? In or out? The awkward, yeah. That's what she said. I'm just saying, this is really awkward, me sitting here, you know, like, and you just see,
Watch Party (02:16.832)
Yeah, I was going to talk about it and then you gave me that look like open it up Meg
was starting to talk about the drink and you looked at me and that means I know I know I'm sorry
Watch Party (02:31.488)
All right. What are we drinking today? So today, we are not doing a cider right now, you guys. We're being a little... I've been weird with ciders. Like, I love my ciders, but like, I haven't been drinking ciders at all. I mean, this summer, I haven't really been drinking that much, which is fine. I don't drink a lot when it's hot out. It's more of a cozy, cool weather. I mean, I drink plenty in the summertime, probably more, so I don't know. just depends. I drank a cider yesterday with my mother from the Canadian ones we sat on the Those are so good. Yeah, on our patio. We did that at the market. Yes, we had one of those. No, we didn't. We didn't drink that at the market.
After the market. after the market. Not in coffee cups. No. We would never. No. It was after the market. Yeah. That's what I thought. Yeah. Because your mom came down, brought the ciders. It was great. I didn't pack them in a cooler for us. Anyways, so today we are drinking, I got this from a local company here in Washington called Alpen Glow Cocktail Company. And it is a ginger pear daiquiri the ginger is.
out of this world. did two shots of lemon vodka, like citrus vodka from Absolute. And then we did two shots of this. And then we did ginger beer and a little bit of lemon juice. it is, you guys, it is like. It's a really good, it is a good summery If you are a fan of pear and ginger. Ginger. Ginger. But anyways, they are, they have a website you can go to, but it's Alp and Glow Cocktail Company. They do the pre -mixed like cocktail juices.
So then you just add alcohol. You just add what you want. Anything else. But I tried a bunch of their stuff at a market that I went to, and it was a frickin' bomb. And they're very clean ingredients, which is nice when you're drinking alcohol. You don't need all the... 10 out of 10. We don't need more sugar in our lives. Mm -mm. I like We do need more of those olives and cheese. We do. That's fine. You know. What are we watching today, Megan? We are watching... This is a series of documentaries. They're about an hour, hour and a half each. But we are starting with number one, The Blackwell Ghost.
And the description is, filmmaker tries to prove that ghosts are real but soon regrets his intentions after he finds himself being terrorized in a haunted house by a ghost with a dark past. This authentic documentary that shows dot dot dot press the more button. Thank you, sir. An actual ghost footage that was captured on camera. Dun, dun, dun. So I've seen this on TikTok a lot about this documentary.
Watch Party (04:54.122)
I don't know necessarily what it's about, but I also know that Mr. Boo Boo watched it. And it shook him. And he came upstairs. He was watching it by himself downstairs. And he came upstairs, and I was in bed. And he was like, babe, I'm not OK. I'm like, what the hell? So I've been wanting to watch it, but not watch it. There's a reason it's daytime we were watching it. I'm excited to watch it. If you guys have any documentaries you want us to watch, because it was kind of difficult to actually settle on one. Like, find one that we thought was good enough.
We saw a lot of reviews saying that Demon House was a scary one. I didn't think Demon House was scary at No, I didn't either. But I don't if it's because we were laughing at Dildo Baggins the whole time or not. It could be that. He's the brevity of this show. Yeah, he really is. you know. But so we're excited to get this one going. So all right. Without further ado, we're going to do this like we did the last one. We'll watch a little bit, explain what we just watched, and talk about it. And yeah, we will give you a play by play. All right. Here we are, the Blackwell Ghost.
Watch party. Dun dun dun. Presented by Lunatic Soup. Bye.
Watch Party (06:19.97)
Texas like, god damn it, you two.
Watch Party (06:26.36)
I didn't get more beer. Probably have to go to shops anyway. You're out of beer? other nice stuff.
Watch Party (06:47.032)
See
Watch Party (07:43.544)
Ginger! Ginger!
You like a little gin jack? I change one of them treats. I'll give you
Watch Party (08:16.91)
Thank
Watch Party (09:03.726)
Did you bring any champagne? What did we do with it? It's in the car.
Watch Party (09:10.158)
Did you bring it?
Watch Party (09:27.822)
Stop.
Watch Party (09:33.782)
Yes.
Watch Party (09:39.225)
The Riz is here!
Watch Party (10:27.372)
And now we have more of these because this one has pickles. Dang it. Not our usual bugle situation, but you know what? I thought about it and I just forgot. Well, but also like. just going to run to the store and get bugles. I know, but it's, but this was also a last minute decision. It's a lot of effort. Alan will be fine.
Honey, like how cute are these? And she literally gave me them for free. mean, I'm sure she charges like 15, I would guess at least for all the little things in here. Like has to be something. Okay.
Watch Party (11:15.938)
I don't like how it's more on me than it is on you.
Obviously we can't get Mr. Boo Boo in it. The pickles are like a little spicy. I love a feisty pickle.
Watch Party (11:38.965)
wait, I'm plugging in.
Watch Party (11:44.01)
ham that's a different one. There's that one.
Watch Party (11:51.302)
The only thing we might just we have to watch the charge because it wasn't fully charged because it was deader than a door now. those pickles are fucking bomb. I want to text her and ask what those are. Spicy spicy. OK. There's just some muscular play. Yeah, that's fine. It's Meg's arm. Yeah.
Watch Party (12:14.99)
Sure.
Watch Party (12:19.659)
Should we like every three or four minutes? think we last time we did a good job of like being like, okay, let's about it Before we had to stop that's because it was jilded back
Watch Party (12:46.764)
So right off the bat, this guy does zombie movies, which is Reina's absolute favorite. I am a negative on the zombie movies, you guys. It's a negative. Just wait till you have some of the episodes I'm writing. So he is now saying that he's out there to prove that ghosts exist.
Watch Party (13:27.16)
I've seen this one too where it's like they're hearing shit from inside of there and you want to...
Watch Party (13:35.522)
They're screaming in there.
Watch Party (13:53.006)
like can see it. See, and those are the things, obviously there's such thing as like CGI, all of that, but like in like that's a security camera. Like that's a lot of effort.
Watch Party (14:37.634)
Okay, so we're starting out. have filmmaker Turner Clay, who does a lot of like, does zombie movies. Yeah. That's the thing he does. And it was like, yeah, he was like the producer or director for zombie movies. That was his, like cinematography, filmmaker or whatever.
But he wants something a little different. He sees this video that we just watched. It's at a hotel. And there's some screaming coming out of a room. And we're seeing the security footage, which, granted, is not that great. But you can still hear it. Yeah, and in the room, there's screaming and banging. But loud screaming where it sounds like someone's being murdered. And you can hear it in the security. And they have the guy, the hotel sent somebody up to go check it out. And you can hear the people from.
just the desk being like, no, we gotta call the police. Let's not go in there, we gotta call the police. He goes in and right when he goes in, you see a shadow, not even a shadow, it's like a mist. It's like a white mist walk out of the room. It's almost like a white cloud. It's see -through, but it's in a human shape and it walks out of the room after he walks in. mean, clear as day, there's no squinting, there's no... No, I can tell. Yeah, and it's very like, you know, obviously...
you know, some people believe in these kinds of things, some people don't. To me, that looks very legit. That's not something that is like, how it's done, it would be very difficult to emulate unless you're like talking Unless you are making an actual, yeah. But you have to have the money of Hollywood. have to have like the ability to have a high -end like CGI situation or something like that, which this was just a security camera that like footage and this made him believe in ghosts. No, I don't think it made him believe in ghosts. I think it made him curious. Or curious. he said that then he set out to talk to this guy.
Well, no, well, he said before this, he set out to prove that ghosts are real. And then he said that you can, like the part that I thought was cool, he's like, you can find them if you know where to look. And he was like, can find them in like a dark corner of your house, a turned off TV in the reflection. I think it was just very, like, I loved that because it's true. Like, you can find them anywhere. You just have to know where to look. You got to know where to look. OK. So now what's he doing? Well, now there's a street and there's a very beautiful
Watch Party (16:45.964)
doggy. That's a cat. I don't think that's a cat. That's a cat. Is that a cat? That's a cat. Megan. There's an animal. Look at the fluffy tail. That's a cat. Dogs can have fluffy tails. I know what you're talking about. I mean, my dog has a fluffy tail, but that's a fucking cat. All right. An animal. It's a cat. And it's a beautiful fall scape street. And now, so he's going We'll see what he's doing. Yeah. Who knows?
Watch Party (17:24.076)
It is. Drinking hot coffee when it's warm out is not... I love hot coffee, but it's a struggle.
Watch Party (17:32.93)
to out my pumpkin space today.
Watch Party (17:46.862)
season.
Watch Party (18:02.764)
Did you say it's embarrassing I have to go downstairs and tell my mom I'm a ghost hunter?
Watch Party (18:10.904)
reason it's intriguing to me is because...
Watch Party (18:26.808)
You have food over there.
Watch Party (18:51.896)
You know.
Watch Party (19:00.554)
I feel like we'd be friends. That's what I'm like. We can relate.
Watch Party (19:07.52)
Yeah.
Watch Party (19:58.72)
would save me potentially a lot of time if the person in the video
Watch Party (20:25.39)
That's funny you say that because that was one the first things
Watch Party (20:55.95)
Straight up, no.
Watch Party (21:25.454)
And that makes sense. Excellent. Tell Tommy I said hello and I appreciate your time and...
Watch Party (21:39.774)
Wait, do you want hear what he has to say about the end of the phone call real fast? Let's hear what he says and then before... Okay, go ahead. All right, so he... Clay, or is it Turner or Clay? I think it's Clay Turner. Clay Turner, I had it up. No, it's Turner Clay. It's Turner Clay. Well, Turner. All so Turner calls the guy that is responsible for this video that we just talked about. Yes. And basically says, okay, I'm doing this documentary. You'd save me a lot of time if you just... I think it's
Can you just tell me? Like verify if it's fake or not. Yeah. And what does he say? He says, I can tell you. like they have a mutual friend, it sounds like. They had a mutual friend on Facebook, I think he said. Yeah. And he said, I do not have the abilities. I am not technologically savvy enough to create this. And he's like, of course, the public says it's fake. Everyone says it's fake. He's like, it is raw footage. I can send you the raw video file. You can have it analyzed. He's like, it's not fake. And I.
understand that because I am not technologically savvy. I could never pull off something like that. Like I said, that's pretty advanced to pull off. would take a while. You would have to have a lot of... I think you could pull off something like that. I could pull off a sleight of hand or something in a video, but not to that level. Not to that extent. Not to that extent because that would like to make it actually be a see -through... That's what I'm saying. It would have to be Hollywood CGI to make it so that it didn't distort. Because you can see through it. For it to not distort the background.
There's so I think also you have to make it look like security footage too. You couldn't just do it regular. think it would be easier to do it just in regular. And I'm talking out of my ass here. It's been a long time since I've done anything film related. Exactly. Shut up. But I would think it would be easier to put an image like that just on regular footage, regular recording, than on.
the security footage. I mean, it's all, the end of the day, a filter. So like, you take a piece of video and you can literally do layers of things on it. so like, to me, it doesn't make a difference which thing it is. It's making that actual apparition, which is this see -through white thing, come out the way that it did, is that, like I said, you would have to have very advanced video editing equipment.
Watch Party (23:59.636)
Like, extremely advanced in my professional. You know, it's something that I would love to get my sister's opinion on because she is a videographer and she actually does that. But I think she would say the same, that to be able to do that at that capacity is pretty, like, pretty, it's a lot. anyway, so it says now three weeks later. So now we're going into, he's gonna start his own investigation. to debunk, he couldn't debunk. Couldn't debunk and I think he was pretty sold with what this guy, I mean, as sold as he could be. And he, you know, went in saying, I don't think this is real, so.
fucking changed my mind pretty much. I think that's the way to go into these things. That's what we always say, going with the doubt first.
Watch Party (25:37.39)
because there is at least five parts to this.
Watch Party (25:43.352)
Two years later.
Watch Party (26:39.256)
It also depends on what year this is filmed. That's true. I don't know when this is filmed. true. it's pre -Alexa.
And.
Watch Party (26:51.246)
Yeah
Watch Party (27:12.504)
some.
Watch Party (27:19.542)
seconds later the light turns
Watch Party (27:42.966)
yeah, yep.
Watch Party (27:48.13)
zoom in. We're not even looking at it. This is why I got screwed because it's dark and I saw it. But that's the same type of thing that we just saw in the...
Watch Party (28:19.666)
We caught that. We fucking excited. Okay, it went from three weeks later and then it he's sitting in his car and basically the other guy who was going to do the documentary with him bailed because he had another something he was going to do. He had a new job and he did not want
following him. Yeah, and so his friend backed out and the guy like Turner is sitting in his car and he's like, well, I guess I'm not doing this anymore. I'll go back to making zombie movies or something and it cuts. Then it says two years later and it cuts to him in his basement and he brings the camera back out and he's like, well guys, I'm restarting this adventure and I have something exciting to show you. Right, and then he said that he put out there like, show me your ghost footage and he got a ton of stuff. Most of it in his words was just bullshit.
until this one video. So he shows the video, and basically a light turns on and off. And we're sitting here. Couldn't that be Alexa? I don't know what year this was. It could have been before it. But anyway. also could have been someone in a different room. Like, so many things. Yeah. And then he goes, well, watch it again. And then when you look next to the light, it wasn't the light turning on and off. It was that same white mist figure. Yeah, white. It's a see -through. That
across the do think that's what people think of when they think they see ghosts in a way is like the white, it's almost, you know, it's white, white, a white sheet going up. It's a see -through white entity that's like walking across. That's like a humanoid shape. Yeah, humanoid shape. So he catches that and he stops it he's like, you know, I know some of you guys are like, this isn't real, blah, blah, blah. But he's like, but I'm making a ghost documentary. And to me, it's good enough. And so it would be exciting for us too. It be very exciting if we caught that. So anyway, so now he's calling the guy and trying to go to
the house to see if he can investigate.
Watch Party (30:28.792)
Doug had a plane growing up. Yeah, like that's what I'm saying is like if you're a pilot like it's very normal to have a plane.
Watch Party (30:42.26)
going on
Watch Party (30:48.503)
Manchego.
Watch Party (31:03.086)
When I thought about this show, I thought Dave Matthews. 100%. I can see that. He looks a lot like Dave Matthews.
Watch Party (31:16.678)
is how I would act as well around you like how he acts around his wife just like staring her and stuff. also didn't bring that up how much he reminds like he seems like a very like I like his aura his whatever it is he's very like neutral he's neutral he's like and I might bring this but he doesn't believe and he does not believe he's just like whatever we'll see what happens.
Watch Party (31:46.114)
Yeah. But he also said he's out there to prove that they're real or not. He's out there trying to figure it out. And I think by the documentary, it shows that.
Did you know that there's in cheese that's like crack? The same stuff that's in crack that hits your nerve? That's literally why. Cheese is addictive. That's thing. is no such thing as too much cheese. I agree.
Watch Party (32:18.422)
It looks like...
Watch Party (32:34.378)
It's like me giving directions.
Watch Party (33:10.136)
sit on.
Watch Party (33:35.189)
Thanks for having us.
Watch Party (33:56.974)
That's why I said I was like, just come over. I have plenty of stuff, but this was literally given to us. Shannon was going to take one to work. We brought it twice in a
Watch Party (34:07.431)
And this was just one thing that I had given to me on the radio.
Watch Party (34:22.264)
every other day I see some activity. You see that much? Yeah, it's quite a bit. We'll give you an example, like what's the last
Watch Party (34:46.478)
Surprise.
Watch Party (35:22.446)
She was so healthy. In fact, she had just seen the doctor the day before and he had told her how great her health was and what shape her health was in. So, you know, here she is one night, you know, nothing I guess but a really nice heart attack. So I just, didn't know if she had maybe seen something that scared her
Watch Party (35:42.502)
I agree that's stretching you. But I get why he's saying that. That you have that in this documentary is a bit of a stretch. Yeah, I agree. But also for them to have lived in this house for however long and just now, like, that's I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Watch Party (36:10.016)
Everyone else went and the same exact moment. It was spooky. Alright, so this was the edition we were
started
Watch Party (36:30.584)
So this
Watch Party (36:39.907)
As far as goosely activity, really not much happens in here. It's kind of a strange thing. It seems like the entity respects my privacy.
Watch Party (36:52.428)
So however, that doesn't mean that it doesn't mess with me.
Watch Party (37:02.104)
Something you may have noticed when we came up here was how much noise the floor makes.
Watch Party (37:25.758)
I that very series of noises. And then it's as if the entity is just stopping right here and saying that it wants to play or something. Nothing ever happens after that. But it's still darn frightening, I tell you. And you never hear it walk away or anything? No, it just stays there all
They're still frightening, I have to say. They're always yours. This one time I had some out of
Watch Party (37:56.394)
morning we were at breakfast and they said, Greg, why are you going up and down the stairs
Watch Party (38:22.392)
music studio here.
Watch Party (38:34.776)
gives me a call and says, hey, Greg, I thought you were out of town. And I said, know, Ron, I know. What's up? He goes, all the lights in your house are on. there's somebody standing by the
Watch Party (38:47.534)
actually so convinced of that that he calls the cops. Really? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And the cops show up and what that's
Watch Party (38:56.854)
And you know, Ron is really a straight shooter. He's like a no -bullshit kind of guy. So, I mean, I'd say whatever he says is being
What I'm about to show you may make you want to run out of this house screaming, so you have to promise me, both of you, that you're
Watch Party (39:22.05)
Which is why I feel like basements are so because it is like
Watch Party (39:38.328)
By the way, I'm on my phone because I'm Googling something that I'm going to bring up in this that I discovered by just looking at something, so I'm going to bring it up. I'm just letting you know why I'm on my phone. I'm paying attention, but it's also... Of course there's a well!
Watch Party (39:57.31)
We need to figure out why the fuck wells are so...
Watch Party (40:26.627)
boy.
Watch Party (40:34.656)
suspected this one because she was so
Watch Party (40:45.354)
in this space right here in this space
Watch Party (40:53.632)
you know, there's really been no evidence of that.
You have to wonder how something like that ever got started if there wasn't some basis and truth. What is this thing? What is that? Well, that's our only way to access this. This thing weighs about as much as a house. So, you know,
Watch Party (41:33.23)
This is quite deep probably.
Watch Party (41:46.188)
Yeah.
Watch Party (41:57.47)
man, man, man. All right, so this turned into something I guess I wasn't expecting. So Turner hops in his little Cessna plane that he owes and flies to, did we determine where it is? Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania from Kentucky, I think he was in. And with his wife to go meet Greg, who is the owner of this house that he wants to investigate.
Hang on. I know. I just go and I'm going to tell you this in a minute. that's... on. I'm noticing something. Yes. And that's why I decided to look up because I was like, want to know this guy's name for talking. And then I pulled it and then I started... So, okay. All So just let's finish talking about this and then I'm going to explain. Okay. I'm noting a name discrepancy here. Yes. We paused it and so it shows the cast on the screen. And Meg is noticing a name discrepancy that I had Googled something and figured out while in between this and we're going to tell the rest of this and then I'll explain.
Okay, so Turner and his wife, they go up to Pennsylvania, they come to the house. The guy answers the door. Greg, allegedly. Answers the door says, come on in. Says he's lived in the house for over 50 years. Given his age, let's say he moved into the house as a teenager. Turner asks, has anybody died in this house? He says, well yeah, my dad died in this house. He fell down the stairs. And broke his neck. And snapped his neck, just like that. And then eight years before this, his mother died in the house.
which was surprising because she was extremely healthy. She had just gone to the doctor, said, you're incredibly healthy. Your heart is incredibly healthy. The next day she had a heart attack. Yeah. Then he said, I wonder if it was the shock of seeing something, which that's a red flag for me because I can see. Turner who said it. No, no, it was Greg. OK, yeah, Greg. And like I could see if you're the child of somebody, but to bring it up in. Yeah.
The documentary I'm like hmm that's kind of planting blah blah blah. So then Greg gives them a little tour of the house they go upstairs he says that they kind of stay out of his bedroom and then talks about how every night he hears them coming up the stairs and he walks up the stairs which I even said to you this seems a little scripted here because he's walking up the stairs to show him the sound and then he says I'm going to show you something but you have to promise not to run out.
Watch Party (44:11.296)
And they go where, They go to the basement, you guys. And what do they find? They find a fucking well. Why is it always a well? We have done so many episodes where places are super haunted and they have a well. And so it's something where I just looked at Meg and I was like, we need to find out what the correlation is with wells and haunted places. But I think my initial thought is it's because people throw things down there. Throw things down there. Like people.
We were talking about it's always the basement. And Tex brought up that it could have to do with the earth. We're always talking about the stone, it's the earth. Which that is a good point, like where basements are. Because it is the closest, or under a house. Yeah. It's the closest to I mean, I was terrified of my basement as a kid. We had a huge basement as a kid. But then what's the story of the well? That there was a crazy lady who used to live in the house, and she would
Kidnap kids, chop them up, and throw them down. started going missing. And so the story was that they, at first he told it as though it was fact, because I audibly gasped. That he's like, well, turns out they were chopping up the kids and throwing them down this well. And then he says, well, there was no evidence to this, blah, blah. I'm still not convinced of this. Well, I'm going to unconvince you more. But I did say.
no, you're going to unconvince me more. did say I like this Turner Clay guy. We both really like him. And I do feel like straight shooter. I like he's a no BS guy. And he reminds us of us and how we would go through an investigation. just as like, just he seems like a chill dude. Like, I don't know. But tell me, Reina, why, when we pause it and it comes up with who's in the scene, why does Greg say Sonny Burnett? Burnett. Well, you see, Megan. So I googled.
the show, or mean this documentary, and it went to cast. And it to cast and it said the same thing. said Sonny Burnett and Greg. And I was like, in my head I'm like, duh fuck? Like what the hell? that, so then I click on his name and he has an IMBD. IMDB, sorry. AKA like an actress program. So he did say in this that he composes, like he had a room in there where he had a keyboard and all that.
Watch Party (46:26.284)
I will also say that in reading this, is his mini bio on this thing, and it says it was self -written, which makes me think that it could be like elaborated to an extent. But it says, he's an actor, musician. Sonny Burnett has been involved with the entertainment industry his entire professional life. As a musician, he has worked with Bob Hope, Jerry Lewis, Red Skeleton, Ed McMahon, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Lou Rawls, Andre Crouch.
Amy Grant and many other greats. That's a pretty good resume. For almost a decade, he worked as a music studio musician for national television broadcaster, wrote comedy sketches and was twice featured as a guest chef. In recent years, he has expanded his professional profile to activities to include film acting and has made an appearance in True TV's Missing Persons Unit, CMT's Mabe in America. I think it's supposed to say Made in America. don't know.
Soap Nets, Southern Bells, Louisville, as well as a dozen of independent films. Dependable, hardworking, great attitude, best performance when chocolate covered donuts are on set. I mean, same. So this guy is an actor. So this is where I wonder, this is where obviously this is where this comes in, because he's known as Greg in this thing. Is he going by the name, a stage name for this because he doesn't want this to follow his career?
Like, be, this is his real life, could be that they hired him because this house, the actual people who owned it did not want to have anything to do but said that he could go in and do it. And they that also kind of discredits, flow of the show. So then I also went down the rabbit hole on Reddit of like, proof of this not being real, of like, people questioning it. And a lot of it were people being like, it is real. Like, it was a very like,
Like obviously certain people were saying it's the washing machine. Is that what you were wondering? No, it's a machine. obviously everyone's going to doubt things, but a lot of people were like, no, it's definitely real. They had different theories on why this was going on as do we. So it's something that I think we can research and see at the end, but it was a red flag for both of us. Well, as soon as I saw that name, I'm like, hold up. But this whole time, as we're watching it, I was on my phone, and I was like,
Watch Party (48:48.522)
I know Meg's gonna be like, what the fuck are you doing? And I'm like, I swear to God, I'm doing something for this. I swear to God, I'm not just being obnoxious. All right. And that's what I did. All right, let's continue. Let's go.
Watch Party (49:03.648)
stuff and all these things. Well that's what I thought too. here's my thought. Yeah. Here's my thought. Yes. They went to the house, the owners didn't want to do any video filming. He needs filming for the documentary. So he called up one of his extras, one of his guys that may have been in there, Sonny Burnett, who has done zombie movies. He's done Nearly Dead. He's done all these little nightmare fuel zombies are forever. He was a voice of a
of one of the sheriffs, you know, all these little things, zombies are friends, blah, blah, like all these zombies in all these movies. And my thought is that maybe he was the extra to film because the people didn't want to be there and he needed information, he needed the buildup for the documentary. Because you can't just show images and you can't show a thing without explaining, like part of the...
Part of what makes scary movies and stuff is the builder, is the set. You have to set the scene. So I'm wondering if they hide, if Turner hides Sonny, because when Rainer said that, I Googled as well. I'm wondering if that was that. Do you know what I mean? So the house is real, the story's real, Greg isn't real, but the story behind the house is real. Does that make sense?
Watch Party (50:31.766)
so funny because when I saw her I was like why is she wearing that thing over her head that makes sense because she was a cancer patient I almost made it. So what do think about that? Watch Party (01:01:59.948)
to get the house for three days. right, so we left off. They left the house. And then the guy gets a message from the owner of the house, Greg, on Facebook that says, shocking. Kind of seems a little scripted. But anything in a documentary is going to have to be scripted to some extent. you can't just go out there and not have a storyline or willy nilly. Do you know what I'm saying? There has to be some kind of whatever.
Obviously, this whole thing is about him investigating this haunted house. So these kinds of moments would probably have to be documented, but this part does seem a little, I don't know, questionable. Anywho, he says, I'm going out of town for two months. Would you guys like to come stay here? And they're like, of course. And apparently, we're leaving tomorrow. And they're going for three days. So they come to the house. You point it out. He's gone for two months, but there's fresh flowers in the kitchen. Yeah, there are fresh flowers on the kitchen counter. So, you know.
I don't know, I just said that. was like, man, would they really? He's going through the house. They go down to the basement. He goes to his wife. He goes, did you hear what he said? You weren't here. You didn't hear. You would have said that to her. You had a three hour plane ride back to Kentucky. And you didn't discuss that there were bodies being thrown in the well? that'd be the first thing. I could probably be texting you from the basement. We would walk out of the house and be like, fucking bodies in a well? I mean, is it surprising? And children's bodies? That's the
All bodies, no, all bodies. All bodies, but no, children, this is really fucked up. Anyway, so now he's just setting up cameras, he's setting up different things, trying to capture what is going on. Can we discuss the toilet paper? Yeah. Like he goes, well, if you do ghost hunting, this is what you do. I have never heard of this before. And your mother -in is a professional paranormal investigator. So you take toilet paper and you put it in an X shape on a counter. And then you put like a kid's ball.
Mm -hmm in the middle in the middle. Yeah, and he goes ghosts are like boys if there's a ball they're gonna kick it So Betty if you're listening apparently you need some toilet paper and a ball, that's it. That's why you need done We'll try that on our nest next investigation. I'll how this goes. Yeah. Yeah. So anyways, alright, we'll get back to

Do you know? That's our 100th? It's like right at the beginning of the year. So that's what we decided to do in December. I feel like let's make it, or like let's figure it out so that that's our 100th episode. I've already started filling in for next year's calendar. also like, welcome back, it's 100th. Yeah, that's

They were saying three. It was three days. It was three days. Did you want to talk about the first day? yeah, we should probably do that. Yeah, I mean, we'll just give a quick briefing. All right, they made it through day one. Night one, day one. The only thing that it showed, it did show the same camera that the original video was sent that made this guy intrigued about the house. The security camera is still set up on the fireplace, which recorded this light that went on and
for the, which is what got Turner to come out and make this film. And the light did go on. And so in the, he... It didn't give it a timestamp though, so did it go on at the same time? Yeah. Could that have been... And also, like he made a point of saying he got access to the home securities, like thing through an app, which does make sense, because it is one of those wise, like WIV camera, which I'm like, okay. Cause at first I was kind of like, that's weird that it's, he's using the same camera, but anyways. So yeah, a light turned on and off, but that was all that happened the first night.
The most disturbing part? No. The most disturbing part was him shoving a camera in his wife's face to wake her up and asking her to go make coffee. Yeah, that was fucking offensive. What would happen to you, Mr. Boo Boo, if I did that? Or you did that to me? own fucking coffee. It would be murder mystery. Because Earl had to die. You know, you know. Anyways.
So then when he comes downstairs after making his wife make him coffee, she yells from downstairs to him saying, did you open the basement door? And he's like, what are you talking about? No. So they look at the basement door. It is open. They - there were no cameras on the basement Yeah, and Meg said it. Meg's like, why did you not put cameras on the basement door? Which is clearly the haunted area of it. Rude. But they mess with the door to see if it actually was shut properly. It couldn't
just come open from the wind. It's a heavy wooden door with like old. It's got a latch. Yeah. If it was just, if it was just propped, it looks like it would have opened no matter what. So they would have seen it open before they went to bed. Who knows? And then they go downstairs to set up more cameras or to look at stuff. And at first you hear you, sorry, they go to the basement. Yeah. The basement at first you think you hear footsteps up above, but it could be anything. The wife is like the house. It's an old house, blah, blah. But then you definitely hear footsteps from up above. And it is a very like, obviously, you know,
Watch Party (01:14:21.09)
we're gonna pick it apart a little bit. Could have been someone who's there with them. Like making the noises. The thing to me that was interesting was like how it went, almost like sounded like it faded. Like it went from heavy to like then disappeared. But again, maybe they're like really fucking skilled. He's a filmmaker. I will say that. I he knows how to make horror movies. He's been doing it. Exactly. So it could be a number of things, but it wasn't - And he makes like zombie movies, which are kind of like B movies. So they have to get creative with
how they make those. Yeah, because no one's going to watch that shit. No one likes zombies. mean, I would shut the fuck up. We don't like zombies. Have you seen the movie them? No, they're like zombies. No, they're giant ants from outer space.
No, no thank you. I do not want to watch them. I use them under my dad all the time. so it's like an old, old movie too. okay. So it's like probably real good, real great. Or Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Have you seen that one?
Can't say that I have cannot say that I have Megan well October's coming All right, now it's showing a timestamp of 127 a so second night, which is their last night apparently. Yeah, so guess it's two night three days But so far like not a lot has happened. mean, there's been some stuff But well and mr. Bubu just said that the part that made him come to me was the part where you heard the footsteps upstairs Which then I was like, okay that so nothing scary has really happened thus far. Yes, but the amount that would have to be there to cause that much smoke though would have to be, trust me, is someone who sets off the fire alarm at least twice a week. A lot. My kids when it goes off they go, okay, mom's cooking.

Watch Party (01:21:04.718)
Okay, shit's getting real over here. Yeah, so it was 1 .23 a on the night two, and all of a sudden you hear, what, footsteps is First it footsteps, like it showed a camera over the hall and you hear the clunk, clunk, clunk, like it's old wooden staircase. Yeah, and you hear that and then it goes to the room they're staying in, which he has a video in, recording obviously, and they're in bed, and all of a sudden there's this really loud
It's very loud, it's very forceful. gave Meg a little bit of a jump scare. Meg goes, I don't I mean, it scared me too, I'm not gonna lie. But I just didn't jump as much as you. And then they obviously wake up and they're like, what the hell? And then all of sudden the smoke alarm goes off. And so he jumps out of bed, grabs his camera, tells his wife to stay there and he opens the door and the hallway and the stairwell is filled with
Now I feel like if we were just watching this just to watch it, we wouldn't be as critical here. Not at all. we're critical because that's what we're for. So he goes down the stairs. He has his camera. He tells his wife to call the fire department. he's filming, filming, filming. You said, why is he taking the time to film if it's so full with
wouldn't you say, okay, we gotta get out of the house? That you would just get out of smoke. It was a lot of smoke. A lot of smoke. And you would not be taking your time to film things if that And he was going pretty slow. Yeah, and you, cause when he gets to the bottom of the stairs, that's where the basement door is, and it was wide open. But instead of him just like slamming it shut, running past it, like acknowledging, okay, that was open, that's fucked up. And figuring out where the fire's coming from, trying to put it out while he's staying in someone else's home, he pauses.
He pauses, he was like, what the? Observes. And there's still smoke billowing. he closes the door and goes into the kitchen. This part confused me a little bit though. A lot. So the smoke is coming from the kitchen and the oven is on and you can see like the tin foil at the bottom of the oven. And then he turns like the light off of his camera and you can see the burners. It's like a glass cooktop. Yeah, it's a glass And the coil burners are on. Every single one is on. And so then he turns them all off.
Watch Party (01:23:15.17)
Tex has a point that if there was like grease or something in the oven, it would cause smoke. But that much smoke? This is somebody, I set the smoke alarm off at least twice a week when I'm cooking. You revealed something to me that is the same thing that happens in my house, is that whenever the smoke alarm goes off, all the kids yell, mommy's cooking again. And it's like the standard thing, but which happens a lot. I can tell you
from a person who has dripped lots of fat and stuff on the bottom of Pretty sure there's like a noodle and a French fry at the bottom of my oven right now. Yeah. The amount that it would take to smoke our whole house out. The whole house up the stairs. Because it's an old house, there's lots of small rooms. The kitchen is at one end. You have to go through the kitchen, through the hallway, and then turn and go up the stairs. The amount of smoke was insane, which also is something that I'm like, OK, then if he's making the film, like, how did he get that much smoke? But again, he's a filmmaker.
He could have done it. I don't know. But it was a lot of smoke. And I don't think the oven, honestly, could have produced that much smoke. I have burnt so many things. I've done so many things. To fill a house with smoke is quite... I could really do something significant. the downstairs with smoke. It's never traveled up the stairs. And mine is a clearer shot to go upstairs than this is. Yeah, agreed. So that's questionable. But you know what, guys? It's still like... This is a crazy...
This is a great show. I'm actually loving this. And also, we're saying, if this wasn't what our line of work is, we would not be as critical, obviously. And we would just be enjoying it a little bit more. But I feel like part of our thing is debunking the bullshit that people put out there, because it's what makes people not believe when people actually experience stuff. Love the documentary. Love the filmmaker. Love his wife, which I accidentally Googled. And she died. She's actually passed away from cancer, which really sucks.
All in all, still really good. Really good. Definitely be like, watch this And there's like eight parts to it. So buckle up. Hold on to But they're all different houses. Are they? I haven't looked Yeah, they are all different houses. I he goes back. In number two, he goes back. Is it? I think so. never mind. thought there were, no, because one's based in Florida. Yeah, but I think it said in number two, he goes back to this house. I could be wrong. Well, maybe number two, but I know the one that I would see on TikTok was a Florida house. Really? I feel like we should do that next. or six or seven, all right? Yeah. Anyways, all right.

I'm just googling all of it, just trying to see if I can find... See that's ruining the show, you need it. he's opening
Is it really that heavy?
Watch Party (01:29:08.888)
Why would you do that? Sir?
Watch Party (01:29:17.538)
DEDGE! That's where you need a dad?
Watch Party (01:29:30.52)
You think? But there was, it was - That doesn't look like spring water to me.
Watch Party (01:29:38.232)
So the only thing I had about that was the doors already cracked before you had it open. I know, that's I thought the smell would have been there already. That's what I thought too. And I've been in bad stings before But he did say that he found the source of the bad smell. this thing goes pretty
Watch Party (01:30:11.071)
I ain't mad
Watch Party (01:30:16.128)
and leave it open. I'm gonna shut up.
Watch Party (01:30:23.49)
These things aren't heavy. They are that heavy? Yeah.
Watch Party (01:30:33.61)
is going to be a dark and stormy night.
Watch Party (01:30:45.687)
I love
see if I can't get some weather updates. It's supposed to be a pretty big storm tonight. Possible tornado winds. That is bargain about. we need on our last night in this creepy old place.
Watch Party (01:31:03.854)
So I've been having some equipment issues. I just need to clear up. I've been having some equipment issues. No, I'm pausing it.
Watch Party (01:31:17.338)
It's really good. So the problem is all this shit happens. Okay. I'm sitting here by myself on the couch by myself at night Yeah, the only person in the house is Rainer. So then I'm sitting here going All right, I'm gonna talk through this. I have to talk through this and I go out and I'm like babes. So Yeah, that was intense, you know, because everything happens the fire and everything else So the reason why is like I know what happens when you turn on an oven crank the oven on
It does get smoky. Granted, you're right with the smoke being that level. That level. Down here, sure. Yeah. But like, I get it now looking at it back. I'm like, all right, cool. But at the time I'm thinking, I've been smoking. When there's nothing cooking in them, they smoke like that. Because the grease and everything catches on. And I'm like, all right, cool. And then I'm like, holy fuck, and everything. And he's like, turn it off. And I'm like, all right, I'm going to walk. got to get. And that's when I came off to you. Number two is, it says the final stay at this house.
Okay, so we need to what number two should be a part of the same I still think we should do an episode I think let's do both and then if it turns into a one -parter because we don't have enough talking Yeah, do you know what I'm saying? Yeah, I want to watch the next one because I'm gonna pay attention and you're gonna hate me cuz I'm really shut the fuck up Not to that level But like when I watch scary movies, I like to turn everything off I like to turn the volume up and I just zone in
Watch Party (01:33:01.297)
I don't think it was 25. I think it was like 15, but it's fine. exaggerating a bit, but that's fine.
Women's bladders and everything. I think that the amount of talking we have in this, it's recording for a long time, but I don't think we talked enough for a full episode. I don't think it's going to be... think the part two is fine. I think honestly you do a one and two in one episode. And if we need to do a new, we won't do a new intro, but if we need to, we'll just do it when we do it.
Yeah, you can re -record in your intro whenever.
No, I'm saying if we do the part two and then end up making the one part we'll just go into the next one This is the shit that I'm gonna take a look at you guys a lot. Okay. Thanks for bringing this over So when he does all this this reminded me of you guys the many issues and stuff that you have
Watch Party (01:34:00.964)
Yeah.
Watch Party (01:34:19.95)
I literally have those exact same ones.
Watch Party (01:34:54.958)
Let's go do that. All right, what we're seeing,
Watch Party (01:35:12.547)
Is the light gonna go on again? Yep. Everything flickered. there's a storm. Okay. Power went out maybe. The camera would have gone out. Touche. there camera did go out. Okay. Yeah, power went out. right. All right, well it's two in the morning. I kind of expected something would happen.
Watch Party (01:35:39.118)
Just let me know that the power to the entire house has been shut down. The security alarm is ringing downstairs. Isn't that wild how different it is from just that first sip when it just sits you at an air -raided I might, but I was just doing this and it was... That's really yummy. See, but to me that's
Watch Party (01:36:14.859)
So he said the power went out in the house everything's off the alarms beeping but he looked through the window and he sees the power on the neighbors house Okay, I think we should say that into this should we should we talk about that real fast? We'll just give an update. Okay big storms coming. I love me a good storm I know it was funny. It's all of sudden. They are only supposed to have two nights in the house They decided we need one more naturally and that third night a mega story is coming through. It looked beautiful. It did
Megasource. Megastorm. It's me. So they are, you know, getting ready for bed, you know, making sure that everything's up and running and he's having issues with his camera equipment and the batteries. Everything keeps dying. wait, wait, wait. Back up. what? He calls the local town. we forgot this part. Mine are detail. I think it was the city or something like that. to get newspaper.
The library. asks for newspapers from like 1938 to 1942. He finds the story of the children going missing and who was accountable for that. Yeah. That person was a woman named Mrs. Blackwell, Ruth Blackwell, and she lived in this very house. Yep. He took the newspaper article and did a little Photoshop.
not like on it, like did it change the color. It's like changing things that are white to black and black to white house. And so that he could really see it. And it was the same house. And then next thing you know, he's back down in the basement opening the hatch, the well, which, and then he like gagged at the smell and Tex and I are both like, but wait, it was already propped open. He would have still smelled it. He would have still smelled it. But when he did that, he goes, that's where the smell is coming from.
He said that. So he acknowledged it out more. but when, cause it was only a crack. So then it was full open. That's just me like giving benefit of the situation. and then he decides to put like a string down it to see how deep it goes. And he's like 60 feet. And then he's like, I better close this back up. it's this heavy ass iron. I didn't think these well toppers were that heavy, apparently a huge, mean, it was taking all of his muscle to lift it back on. And then it slams shut.
Watch Party (01:38:30.85)
And I feel like that was like a sign of this is not good. No. And then the storm comes and then it's two o 'clock in the morning and the power goes out. Yeah. And, but as before we went to that, I was saying all of his batteries were dying on everything, which something Meg and I have dealt with numerous times whenever we do an investigation or go into a thing, things die. And it is, it is something
Is a you could be as prepared as you want to be you could have for everything and it's still gonna die and it still happens to us when we do a really fucked up episode like if we do an episode on fucked up stuff like demons it is it's honestly every time it's usually demons we will have our equipment like my computer dies super fast like Things will not work part of our recordings don't work like we'll have the weirdest shit go on so and then when we investigate stuff like I one of the cameras that he showed is one of the little cameras that I had
on our last investigation that died almost immediately and I had charged it for hours. And I've never had an issue with its battery before. And so, you know, just saying. I like this. I like this show. Yeah, it's mean, it's stuff you guys, this is worth watching. If you want to go watch it, it's really good. The Blackwell Ghost on Amazon. it's real, it's well done. If it's fake, it's well done. Exactly. It's either way. It's entertaining. Are you not entertained? She is entertained. OK, we have also moved on to wine, so.
I'm always entertained with wine.
Meg doesn't like to admit that she changed to a different alcohol. Let's continue.
Watch Party (01:40:22.52)
Get your fucking ass
Watch Party (01:40:28.184)

Watch Party (01:41:14.574)
Can you me scream when you call the place, See, here is where I'd be like, I'm coming with you. I'm staying up there. Are you kidding me?
Watch Party (01:41:26.956)
No. serious. But. There could very easily be someone else in the house. Like with them. If that fucking door was open again, unless it just opens, watch, it's just going to fly open. I think he was locking it down. the other.
Watch Party (01:42:13.846)
every faucet is on.
Watch Party (01:42:18.316)
Hey, Terry? What? I would have freaked me out if she was standing right in the doorway. Go Could you hear me yell, call the police, please? You said that! What are you talking about? Just, you know what?
Watch Party (01:42:34.05)
Just tell them to come here, please. Just Terry.
Watch Party (01:42:45.026)
we go.
Watch Party (01:42:49.174)
is enough to get the cops
Watch Party (01:42:54.765)
gotta tell
Watch Party (01:43:14.092)
already bitter.
Watch Party (01:43:23.979)
I have a lot to say. I'm sure you I don't think it's what you think. Sorry, I have a lot camera whams. need to watch. I also think probably lot of various thoughts. I probably think similar. We'll finish this. We'll finish this. We'll We'll about it. yeah, you have to watch. No, we It's kind of whams. I'm But I think that I will shockingly agree with you on what you're thinking. Yeah. OK, let's go.
Watch Party (01:44:07.406)
off.
Watch Party (01:44:12.346)
for being so scared. Why don't you just run and turn it on, flip it on and run back out? That's what I would do. No, gotta capture it all. We film it! I mean, he is making a documentary. wait. You still have water.
Watch Party (01:44:30.358)
Hey Terry! Is there electricity back
Watch Party (01:44:38.134)
The ball!
Watch Party (01:44:50.176)
infrared, non -vision. Just looking through the camera lens.
Did you see the ball?
Watch Party (01:46:16.718)
See you out for a job, babe.
Watch Party (01:46:29.228)
back on
Watch Party (01:46:44.541)
This show is fucking awesome. Well, I love it. I can see why Mr. Boo Boo had a bit of a fright.
bit of a fright. where did we leave off? Power went off. We're heading downstairs. Is that where we left off? Yeah, power went off. And he was going downstairs. And he keeps telling his wife, he's like, call the police if don't. So he goes, OK, I got to go get the breaker. The power's on across the street, so it's the house. Let me go flip the breaker. I don't want to do it. And she's like, do you want me to go do it? And he's like, no.
Yeah, I'm gonna go do it. But he's like, but if I don't, but if I tell you to call the police, she's like, why? She's like, why? And then he gets downstairs. He's like, just call the police. And she's like, but why? But he never tells her why anyways, but so he walks out of their bedroom into and like a, you know, it's the top of the stairs, a landing. Yeah. And then there's a bathroom right there. And he hears water trickling goes in and the bathtub and the faucet are on in there. He has an infrared camera so we can see everything.
Through the camera. he can't see anything else because that comes into play later. Yeah, which I didn't realize, but Mr. Boo Boo told me because I don't know. I've never used an infrared camera. Anyways, so then he goes down the stairs and I was expecting the door to the basement to be wide open. Trust not. And goes into the kitchen and all the the bathroom downstairs, the faucet was on down there. That one and then. In the kitchen. In the kitchen. then. Turns all it all off.
Yep, and then he's like, okay, well now I have to go down into the basement. Tells his wife to call the police again. -hmm. Yells at her a lot. Call the police, just, but doesn't explain anything. But why? So then he opens the door to go down to the basement and we're like, god damn it, this isn't good. Great suspense. It's intense. -huh, so he gets down there and what do I say? I say, if that damn well cap is off. That's what we're both like, what the fuck?
Watch Party (01:48:41.932)
He flips the breaker and he yells at his wife, it on? And she's like, no. And then he turns the camera over to where the well is. I lost it. I my shit at this point. Remember how I said he didn't put the wrench back in to keep the top of John? The freaking wrench is there. And the ball, from the toilet paper is on top of the well.
And then he freaks the fuck out. movie making, my friend. Good job, Turner Clay. Runs back upstairs into the kitchen where all of the cabinets are wide open. All of them. Everything's wide open. Loses his shit. Yep, tap is back on. And then goes into the living room and the chandelier is swinging. Swinging. So then he's like, fuck this. I am going, I'm out. He runs back up. At this point, the power must have come back on because you see the camera at the landing is back on. Yes. the camera's had.
allegedly, gone out when the power went out. Yeah. But you also hear footsteps chasing him. Yeah. And he's just get inside, get hear footsteps behind him. And he runs into the bedroom and slams the door. And locks it. And there we are. I love it. OK. OK. So at that point, though. Wait. But we're on low battery, so let's just get this going. But that point
Watch Party (01:50:18.904)
It's like I just discovered that leprechauns exist.
Watch Party (01:50:29.134)
think that's where I made a big mistake because... after what I've seen and experienced, there's no way anyone's gonna believe me. I don't believe you.
Watch Party (01:50:46.058)
Above the fridge. Right here? No, outside fridge. yeah, I that.
Watch Party (01:51:02.254)
actually quite proud of myself. think
Watch Party (01:51:58.99)
We're back! back!
Watch Party (01:52:04.654)
Wait, wait, I want to see it go that way first.
Watch Party (01:52:20.088)
Like it's there, but what could it be?
Watch Party (01:52:34.939)
There's a lot of plausibilities. Okay, so the other... It says Greg, owner of the house.
Watch Party (01:52:58.574)
So the way they left it, like you know that, I went, all right, fuck. But this is what I struggled with. There's nothing over Yeah, there's nothing. So this is what I struggled with. yeah. out to Beemesh. OK. This is doing exactly what we would have done to like.
Watch Party (01:53:28.398)
Can you rewind that for a second, I just want to take a picture of that quote.
Watch Party (01:53:40.623)
So my thought was is okay, so that thing is fucking heavy, all right, and you need a special tool to open the storm drain. So the thing is, it's a storm drain sewer cap. So it was an old well, they put the cap on and that storm drain that does it is like, they're very, very heavy. You need a special tool to lift it up and out.
He when he slammed it shot slammed it shot you know could you get it open without correct? So that was the only thing that I went well hang on and then I googled it and I said yeah This is a goof because he slammed it shot, but then when the balls there the plies are in So did he shoot it after? Or did he you know or did he shoot it with the plies in?
See what I mean? Well, that's what I said. was it, or is it supposed that the ghost put the pliers? Correct. That's what the illusion is. Because I feel like as a filmmaker, he knows that people are going to look for everything. Yeah. No, I get that. And so that was the only thing that got me at the end. And that's the only thing on Reddit people have been saying. You want that one? Yeah. No, you want the quote. So back. No, right there where she's walking. Yeah. Just press play. Yeah.
Watch Party (01:55:05.296)
I love it. I absolutely love
Watch Party (01:55:12.888)
So the other thing about this is you know that that's scary. You know, that's spot that's scary. Would you not look at it with the camera? He looks straight at the fuse box and didn't venture away from anything from the fuse box. So when you come into a room, do you go like I'm coming in somewhere scary. Do I go?
No, no, I'm just gonna go straight there. Even though know the kitchen's really scary, I'm not gonna look at the kitchen. I'm gonna go straight like this. I'm gonna go here, and then I'm pan around and see the kitchen and then see something bad. That's the only thing... He films everything. He does all that. Except he doesn't come in and he doesn't go... Stop. He doesn't stop and goes, alright, okay. Yeah, where when all the water was on, I was going... Yeah, there. didn't turn the water off. He went straight to the fuse box. But you know what mean? Like, that was the only thing I had issues with.
He films the fire, but not that, you know.
Watch Party (01:56:16.302)
was the only thing I had issues with.
Watch Party (01:56:45.55)
So yeah, so. Right there would have been where the. Yeah, but like I've, you know, to me, he shows every part of everything and not that room. He comes straight down, goes straight there, doesn't do that.
Watch Party (01:57:02.658)
Right there. Wait up, let me get rid of this. Sorry, it doesn't matter. just want the quote. got it. Coincidence is the mind's way of making sense of what it can't believe is real. I don't care if this is real or not. That is a solid quote because you know I always say there's no such thing as coincidences. I like it. I like it. Do you want to a nice photo there? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Take that without
Watch Party (01:57:28.248)
But that's the only thing I had issues with. Because everything else, he films everything, he turns, he does that, he sees the shows at all, he shows this, he shows that this is the only one, he comes down and goes straight to that. He doesn't pan around the room. So did he stage the room and then pan around? That's the only thing I have issues with. But I like the whole thing. like how they said
Watch Party (01:57:55.695)
Stop hitting me. There's a lot of mass there. get it. But there's not. It's right there. It's whole thigh behind the area. Anywho. OK, well, the movie finished. my gosh, I love this. I love this. I love this. I hope all eight parts are as good as this Yeah, I think what it comes down to is that you can definitely pick it apart.
but whether it's real or not, it is a well done documentary slash like. Super good. What is the point of all of this stuff? It's to entertain. This was freaking entertaining. very entertaining. I loved it. So at the very end, because we talked about the ball on the thing, he, talking the next day, they're about to leave, and he's like, what do I do with this information? Because like what John, in the very beginning, about the original footage that got him, his interest peaked into all this. He said.
It doesn't matter if it's real or fake. People aren't going to believe footage of a ghost. Thousand percent. Whether or not it's real. Which we know that. Yeah. Obviously. so he's like, what do I do with this footage? Then at the end, they go back to the basement when he's kind of running out after he looks at the well cover. When the ball's on top. And he goes to the door and then the camera pans back and you see a human figure all white. Like a woman.
And we went back through, there was nothing there. It's not like there was a mannequin down there or a refrigerator. I do appreciate the documentary does take it back to when he's setting up cameras down there and shows that behind him there was nothing there. Now could this have been staged? 100%. But is respect. appreciate the, I don't know, film. Yeah, the attention, just part of it him being
whether it's real or not, like they're acknowledging that people are going to question that part. And they're saying, look, earlier there was nothing. And what's the quote? This is my favorite part. If you've listened to us, you know that I always say there are no such thing as coincidences. I always say that. And I strongly believe that. The quote at the end of the movie is, well, it has a circle around the ghost ladies standing there in the basement. says, coincidence is the mind's way of making sense of what it can't believe is real.
Watch Party (02:00:18.126)
And you said at one point this basement reminds me of the basement at the Walker Ames house in Port Gamble first of all I'm not scared of the Walker Ames house. No We've now investigated a few times and it when you're in the basement. I mean you get the feels there is Something you feel there. Yeah, no, there's seven you can feel the energy fill the vibes and he says in this and he talks about it multiple times he's like If you don't think this kind of thing is
take yourself to a spot where you feel like something could be. Turn the lights off, sit there, let your eyes adjust and wait and see what happens. And so I think we need to go back to the Walker Ames house. I would love to go back. I would love to go. I'll email paranormal people. Yeah. I think it's one of those things where it is like, you know, obviously your senses in your brain is very powerful. Can take over and make you think and believe things that you don't want to.
Like I said, the basement of the Walker Ames house is where I specifically felt where it was like freezing cold in one spot and then not in the other. I had so many things that happened down there. My friend's mom who saw the video and like immediately was like, or no, it wasn't a video. was a, we caught a audio thing. What do you call them? I can't remember. EVP. was like that sound or that it feel like it's a like little boy.
And I already said, I already said, I feel like there's a little boy down there. Yeah, but it was wild that my friend's mom was, she literally was like, was saying, she's like, I feel like he's afraid because so many people are so mean to him. She described exactly what this house was without, she didn't know anything about it. I didn't say where we had investigated. She just was in the room when I was talking to my friend about it, and she picked up on it from listening, and she's very gifted. But it was wild. Anyways. So I think this means we have to go on to part two.
Yeah. So this is the Blackwell House on Amazon Prime. On Amazon Prime. there's lots of parts. 10 out of 10, especially during spooky season. Please watch it. It's a slang word for like a lot of booze, a lot of booze in Australia. It's a mixture of booze. Isn't that called jungle juice? Yeah, but or a pink panty dropper at the front houses.
Yes. my God. Really? sorority days, yeah. You'd go to a frat party and they're serving pink panty droppers because it means it's like every kind of booze, like ever clear vodka. It'd usually be like all clear alcohols with like pink lemonade and a bunch Into a soup, if you Into a soup, if you will. man. And that was, it was called pink panty droppers because it would make the girl so Don't like that. go home with a frat boy. boy. What?
